MY BERNIE RETURN THEORY
Guys I’ve got a theory and I’m hella proud!!!
So I think Bernie is sick - like has cancer or something, because of the TV guides says that she hasn’t returned Serenas calls for 3 weeks, and this could be because she can’t face telling Serena she is ill - like we all know important convos aren’t her thing!!!
This is the news she has to tell Serena when she turns up next week when Serena goes to tell her about Leah that all the TV guides are banging on about!!!!
THEN, the spoilers for Christmas Day are like Hanssen CEOing or something while they fight to save an esteemed colleague - we all assume this is Jac, but it’s not it’s Bernie cause she naturally wants to be treated at Holby and she like has a turn on Christmas or something!!!
The reason we are short on photos is cause they are trying to keep this quiet cause they want us to think this is the end for Berena and Bernie’s gonna fuck off back to Nairobi in anger at the Leah thing (tho tbf I’d be TAPPING Leah) but really she is staying for a while cause she ill!!!
And also it would add to the angst cause Serena would feel UBER guilty about cheating when Bernie was sick, and they can’t break up over it cause Serena isn’t gonna leave Bernie if she has cancer and is being treated at holby!!!!
AND this is a pretty easy route to go down if they want a Berena storyline that doesn’t have too much relationship-ending drama - I mean who doesn’t love a sick-fic I mean episode!!!
Anddddd it’s then got room to introduce Charlotte maybe drama could occur there, and create a reason for Cameron to come back (especially alone without morven) and it just opens doors for more relationship storylines without ruining the relationship!!!!
