Off the bat im just gonna say this, I dont know almost anything about buddhism and im just looking stuff on the internet soooo yeah, anyways on to the main part. What if the eyeball from chapter 101 actually became Phos' third eye. I know this is a huge leap but still, its fun to think about lol. Anyways.
Look at this panel real quick, When I first saw this i thought that doctor Ayumu was brushing the gold out of Phos' eyes, but what if she was clearing space for her other son to inhabit it? it would also explain why Phos' forehead is as flat as a board lol.
Wait I just realized something about the first panel i put up there... the way its shaded kinda reminds me of chapter 19 with Phos gaining control of their new hands to a certain extent
anyways, back onto the main subject. If the eyeball becomes Phos' third eye... do you think Phos would be able to pray themselves away? anyways, just food for thought

Why did Phos falter at destroying Cinnabar in Chapter 92?
Like seriously, what happened? Did Phos become frustrated by the indifference in Cinnabar's face and faltered? Does Phos (obviously) have lingering affections for Cinnabar and hesitated? Did Phos become cocky and underestimate Cinnabar? seriously, what happened? I hope when this scene gets adapted in the anime we'll understand more lol
Also omg is Phos' gold alloy poking the remains of the Mercury Phos clone Cinnabar made and then crushed?
This will probably be a controversial opinion BUT... I would absolutely LOVE to see Matpat do a theory on Houseki No Kuni, more specifically, I want him to make a theory on if the Lustrous are realistically possible!!

What if the gem Bort lost was Heliodor? The timings match up seeing as how Dia said that "Bort is getting so strong lately."

I'd also like to point out that Heliodor was captured at the cape of emptiness, aka where Cinnabar is staying. So its also an interesting detail to CinnaBort.
