Hey Xie! I would like to place a request. A straykids fic req. more specifically a Hyunjin one (cuz u know how much ii love that guy ryt?) anyhoo here's the prompt: Hard, cold rain on the way home from a date, and he suddenly pulls you into a spin, dancing with you in the middle of the empty, glistening street.

"Thanks for buying," Hyunjin said sheepishly, swinging your interlocked hands. "I can't believe I forgot my wallet this time."

You laughed, leaning against his shoulder and squeezing his hand. 

"It was my pleasure. It felt kind of nice to pay for once."

"Don't get used to it," he bristled. 

At his highly offended expression, you began to laugh, long and hard, so hard that you wiped at your eyes, thinking you'd started crying. 

"Are those tears?" your boyfriend demanded incredulously. 

"I don't think so…"

You looked up at the gray sky, holding out one hand to feel the drizzle begin to mist down from the boiling clouds overhead. 

"Oh, no," you muttered. "I forgot an umbrella."

You had just enough time to glance over at him, grinning helplessly, before the sky crackled to life with a flash of lightning and cold, hard rain pelted down upon you. Within seconds, you were soaked to the bone, shrieking with laughter as you linked arms and ran down the sidewalk, bowing your heads. 

You were just about to race into the dorms when Hyunjin stopped you, yanking you into the empty street with a flourish. He spun you with one hand, twirling you under the swaying stop lights as the rain fell in thick curtains. 

"Hyunjin!" you laughed over the sound of water on asphalt, "What on earth are you doing?" 

"Dancing!"

With a quick tug, he whirled you into his chest, carefully lowering you into a dip. As he leaned you back, you closed your eyes and smiled, letting the chill rain kiss your hot face. And then you felt his gentle lips on yours, his face slick with sky tears. 

"Hyunjin!" shouted a familiar voice from the eaves of the dorm house. It was Chris, and you could barely see him through the heavy wall of water from where you were standing in the road. But it looked like he was smiling with amusement and exasperation, shaking his head fondly. "Get your butts in here before you catch pneumonia!"
