Some random doodles :3. I’ll put some explanations and stuff under a cut on this post cause eh it’s fun explaining things and I guess hope they’re at least kinda helpful or interesting:
Based on some promotional art of Christopher getting some really harsh shading and a spooky smile, the text says “Aw little guy!” “Oh he’s a little bit fucked up actually..”
This one is based on the song “Triple Baka” lol. I like to think these three would get along, the older classicvania trio X3.
The text says “a menace (affectionate” with an arrow pointing to Trevor and “menacing” with an arrow pointing to Christopher. I l think Trevor would probably generally tease all of the Belmonts younger than him if they met, so he’s giving Chris the old bunny ears photobomb hehehe. Christopher also has a shirt that says “world’s best grandpa”.
This one I just imagined Chris in a sweater vest and it looks nice on him, although now that I’m thinking about it he might wear one with like a white turtleneck under it rather than a button up tbh. Also haha “#1 Dad” mug cause yeah, Mr. Dad Belmont. It’s not coffee btw, it’s hot cocoa, but how one would convey that in a tiny pencil doodle is beyond me lol. This one exists cause I was having a conversation about how Castlevania doesn’t have enough silly merch (or merch in general) like other media and ran into some pictures of those like tsun tsun style plushies of some vocaloids and immediately thought that would be hilarious. Stupid, silly little Belmont cylinders lmao, I wish man. I meant to draw more than just Christopher, but I forgot alas.
This is just a couple doodles of the same interaction. For one, I think Christopher and Simon would get along great, like really close family. And for two, I think it would probably take a very long time for Simon to be comfortable around anyone, but when he does he is immediately in your personal space. Combine this with the him not sitting correctly or still in chairs and yeah he’s been changing position every few minutes. He also hasn’t said a word the whole time 💀. Christopher doesn’t mind tho, he doesn’t get distracted easily and generally appreciates having company. The text says “they are friends” and “trying to determine what book he’s reading”. There’s also a Chris tbh creature (I think I’ve drawn just about every Belmont as one at some point in my life) and I am aware that Simon smiling doodle has already been posted, I just didn’t wanna cut it in half trying to crop the photo!
Yeah that’s about it, just some little stuff for now. I need to let myself doodle more often, especially character interactions cause they’re fun :3.
