I always think about the fact that we know how mature Jack is in the epilogue which really he isn’t very mature at all (as to be expected from a 12 year old) but we all know that John and Jack are very similar based on Jack’s personality in the epilogue of RDR1 so we can assume that John was very similar in temperament as Jack is in 1907 so I can always imagine john (being Jack’s age) scared for his life on those gallows it makes me emotional that’s it red dead redemption red dead redemption 2 rdr2 rdr2 fandom john marston jack marston
