It's hard for me to find cute shorts that are, you know, not ridiculously short if you wear them properly. Cute athletic shorts that cover at least 1/3 of the thigh? Don't exist. If I want athletic shorts that are comfortably long I have to give up a comfortably snug waist fit. My parents have told me before, bcz my pajama shorts or specific athletic shorts are too short, that I need to cover up better. I've taken to wearing oversized boxer shorts to sleep in bcz at least they won't show my ass the moment I bend in the slightest. If athletic shorts don't have that inner thing that helps keep things from showing are an instant no-go if I'm trying to find athletic shorts that I like.
