I can’t get this though out of my head buuuuut.     There is a thing that I love where the hero of the story gets corrupted. So whos to say that Zenkichi gets a corruption arc after losing everything.I keep talking about this with @smolstarthief And basically after Zenkichi Losing Aoi then Akane he doesn’t have anything to keep him living longer till he accidentally kills someone..Feeling joy once after so many months of despair. Findng a way to the metaverse and awakening to his persona and using that ability to get revenge on Owadas associates. Him using his police badge to get into places and able to make up evidence or even hide it. Him meeting up with Akechi due to having the same target and after that working together to assassinate people in the metaverse. When the scene that reaches Akechi and Zenkichi fighting the PT’s in Shidos palace. Zenkichi realizing that he never broke free of the chains holding onto him but been helping his enemy this entire time. With the scene of Akechi shooting the emergency thingy trapping him and Zenkichi as they fight their shadow selves  Zenkcihi: If this is how I die..Then it doesn’t seem so bad.Aoi…Akane..I’m sorry.
