Some miscellaneous facts about Ruthie that I wanted to share! โก
โ Her favorite flowers are peonies and sunflowers
โ She smells like cinnamon rolls and peaches
โ She's only dated one other person before dating Cater
โ She is a fan of Neige
โ Though her and Rook have never met in person, they know each other through Neige's fanclub, as Rook contacted her after Neige had visited Bippity Boppity Bakery one day
โ Ruthie used her unique magic for the first time when she was eight, wanting her father to be happy
โ Her father met someone due to her unique magic, and abandoned her to start a new life with them
โ Her father now lives in the Shaftlands, having made a name for himself. He's considered a celebrity chef, with a famous chocolate shop
โ She was adopted by an elderly couple after she was abandoned, who raised her and consider her to be their daughter (refusing to even speak her biological father's name)
โ Her parents are Glenn Aisling, the owner of Bippity Boppity Bakery, and his husband, Dr. Dimitri Aisling, a veterinarian
โ She refers to her parents as Papa Glenn and Papa Dimitri, and has a close father/daughter bond with them
โ Whenever Ruthie would miss her father or have a nightmare, Dimitri would sneak her into the bakery to have a treat (making it like a game, as they had to make sure Glenn didn't notice)
โ Dimitri would let her choose whatever she wanted, but he always picked a chocolate eclair for himself, as it's his favorite dessert. The first time he did this for her, he told her,
"The great thing about food is the memories that come with it. The people who made it, the people you shared it with. I want you to be able to look at this dessert and remember there's people who love you, Ruthie. Whether it be your Papa Glenn, who worked hard to make them, or me, the one helping you steal them."
Laughing and ruffling her hair afterwards. This is why chocolate eclairs are her favorite food.
โ She got her pet hamster Raisin as a birthday gift from Glenn, who used Dimitri's help to find the perfect pet for her
โ She cannot be trusted with plants, as she has a bad habit of giving them too much love and overwatering them
โ Since she is a member of the gardening club at her school, her clubmates had to ban her from watering duty
โ Before the events of Breakaway Beauty: For True Love's Cure!, Ruthie has matched a total of 83 couples (including her father)
โ She has a soft spot for Leona, since he reminds her of Adamina

nah bc like. i was planning on drawing yuusha anyway but like. i finally saw her ref sheet. and the hairstyle 2.0 got my ass. DID NOT EXPECT THAT AT ALL, LIKE IM OBSESSED W IT SHE LOOKS SO SHARP.
it was just so different from the long braid she has. her head must feel super light now. and it must be so much easier to wash her hair (less shampoo and conditioner, yeahhh saving moneyโผ๏ธโผ๏ธ deffo needed for the ramshackle prefect tm)
anyways i imagine this is what jamil felt seeing her haircut for the first time (unless he cut it, which like, is cute too. either way heโs shocked she looks so good with shorter hair)
