As someone with a legit medical condition, it seriously bothers me how much Lila is getting away with. Like, do these teachers not ask for doctor's notes? Make her fill out forms with parent signatures? With the amount of stuff she claims to have, I'm surprised none of these teachers have been in contact with her parents or doctors to verify any of it!

When I got diagnosed, I had to fill out so many forms and privately talk with a lot of my teachers so that they could know to help out if something happened. I even had to have a one-one-one meeting with my doctor so she could write (and sign!) a letter with her recommendations.

Another thing: I say "helping out" because that's all I would need. An extension on homework or extra time on a test is all I would need if the something happens to me. I, nor anyone else I know with similar conditions, needs the amount of attention that Lila claims to need.

Sure, Lila could be faking these doctors notes and forging signatures, but that's a crime.

I suppose it's possible for Lila to be forging a bunch of doctor's notes, but you make a good point about how easily teachers like Ms. Bustier believe her medical conditions.
