taehyung is aware of you being a hopeless romantic. he even knew it before you both started dating!

when the two of you were still friends, you had cried about never getting the 'perfect' boyfriend in your entire existence.

"what is your type?"

taehyung asks while scrolling down his screen, as he sits on your bed beside you.

"my type? it doesn't exist!" your voice comes out almost angrily, and you wonder if he would pity you at least now.

he sighs before letting go of his phone and looking at you with a small pout.

"i'm sure there is someone! look around, maybe the person you're waiting for… is somewhere here?"

you shake your head in denial, "there's no such man who likes to stay at home and cuddle, give you soft kisses here and there— have romantic date nights too. there are so many other things… do you want to see my list?"

taehyung rolls his eyes and leans close to your ear.

"you are right. there's no one like that, no one would want to be with you." he whispers, and moves back to flick your forehead with his hand.

hearing you whine makes him laugh, but only until you turn around and hide your face from him.

"hey!" he pokes your back for the third time now, since you have decided not to talk to him, even if it is for a little time.

annoyed, you look at him with a glare and he tries to control the laugh that is seeking to erupt out of him.

"okay, I only got you mad because you’re cute when you’re mad but now you’re not talking to me and I’m scared.", he tells you.

"i can't believe that you, out of all people, would get into a relationship someday. your girlfriend is going to be so unlucky, tae."

"what if my future girlfriend is right here, though?" he comes even more closer, his nose almost touching yours.

"t-there's no one else in this room, right here, except me you idiot!"

"well, that's what i meant. this would probably be the perfect moment for a kiss… don't you think?”

"and we probably shouldn’t waste it."

your answer comes out too quick for your liking, and before you can think of what just happened, he gives you a sweet kiss on your lips.

your eyes are closed, and your face is growing hot with each tick of the clock. throwing your arm around his neck, and hugging him closer has him smiling between the kisses.

pulling away, he grins at you, and you blush once again.

"are you ready to watch a movie and cuddle? maybe a date tonight…", he adds while smirking.

"oh, stop it now!"

you hide your face with your hands, nonetheless smiling and thinking how you have found your perfect man.
