i really enjoyed *most* of the villains excluding the third arc i have Opinions about the third arc the villains are okay i just genuinely forget they exist scarlet has to be my favorite shes awful and manipulative and lives in the misery and pain of others and how she treats peril is so tragic the wings of fire guide book feels like it threw away any complexities she had and they talked about her as if she was just really dramatic and evilTM if that makes sense not sure how to really word it i LOVE darkstalker but specifically in the legends book idk why but he just didnt feel as memorable or evil in the second arc evil isnt the right word ig but like in the legends he felt so much more horrifying and for some reason his manipulative magic felt so much worse and awful even though he still does really terrible things in the second arc it feels lesser somehow??? idk idk lol wings of fire wof wof scarlet wof darkstalker
