Can we talk about the way the knights being pretty much the only medieval thing in Nimona is such a good visual metaphor for the way their bigotry is literally holding them in the past?

like everything else is futuristic (clothes being the only other exception)
their hatred of monsters is literally visually outdated compared to everything else in the film
also both times we see Bal and Ambrosius out of armour is when theyre being progressive
ie just before bal (a commonor) is about to be knighted and at the end of the film where they fully accept Nimona and open the walls
their armour is a metaphor for the institutes bigotry
