i can't believe the "sometimes i think you're a little too good at being fine" "isn't that what everyone wants me to be?" scene exists and people STILL think conrad is the neglected one in that family.

i'm not claiming that that family treated either of them well
putting someone on a pedestal their whole life and forcing them to be constantly trying to be better
that's fucked up
but so is telling someone their whole life that not only do people not care abt them as much as their sibling
but that they can only ever be happy and fun and light or nobody wants to be around them
and if they're trying to be happy and fun and light but not successful
and someone can tell and asks them
they need to be honest about it
but not too honest
