Please dont cancel the Hail, True Body AU, at this point Im far more invested in it then I ever was the original series and reading it has helped me get through some really rough patches in my life.
I think I will be continuing the AU. Tbh, I view the whole story (and even the characters) as being quite removed from TMC and more like it's 'inspired' by the series. However, if people (understandably) ask that I no longer continue it then I will do so. I don't want anything I make or write to hurt others, you know?
For now the AU is continuing and I plan on adding information to fic descriptions and author's notes that makes it clear that I am no longer supporting Alex and to make other readers aware of what has happened. At this point, HTB AU has a fully realised story from start to finish and tells something very different to TMC, and I personally think that the characters are more fleshed out and defined compared to the material they originally come from.
So yes, for now I don't plan to cancel the AU, but I will be making it very clear that Alex isn't to be supported and that the victims are.
