today my biology professor was telling us about how one time when he was teaching dominant and recessive genes this one kid, sweating bullets, was like, "professor I have red hair and both of my parents have dark hair and my grandparents have dark hair too" and my professor was talking with him about his family history etc. and then he realized at some point that he should just stop talking so he told the student to think about it and left but then after a few minutes the student waved him back over and was like "professor I'm adopted"
