There is something so cool and funny about the kids of Team Asuma and their canon pairings.
Two of them married women from outside the village, powerful and influential women on their own right, with strong temperaments and the visuals of a wild, decided, smart lady. In terms of nation alliances and cultural exchange, it really benefits the village and their own team.
Then you have the kunoichi of the team and her relationship with Sai, another intersting match if you think about how both of them belong in the intelligence side of their career. For the village, it's such a perfect fit that no one even though about. Of course two of the highest ranking shinobis of the leaf can discuss deadly secret missions over their dinner, before going to bed together.
I personally don't care about ship wars or engage in those conversations of "what ships are better". Canon or fanon, it's the same for me. The thing I care about is the implications of such ships, what they bring to the table, how intersting they can make such dynamic, etc.
I just think Team Asuma has amazing taste and they are visibly not afraid of what is different or uncommon. They actually seem to prefer it.
Genderbent Team 10
People seemed to enjoy genderbent team 7, so I decided to do team 10 for the fun of it. It’s kind of hard to come up with different looks for these characters that haven’t already been done. I think Ino is my favorite. :x
