It Just Doesn't Make Sense And Doesn't Work Well Imo - Tumblr Posts
ENSekai naming conventions is so silly man. Like wdym you'll translate Gekokujou but not Childish War?? What is the thought process??
Like I get why some of the names of the songs are untranslated, it's just easier, or it has some meaning, like Kanadetomosusora, which has Kanade's name in it, which, in my opinion, makes it easier to remember and kind of explains the localization choice. But why Okochama Sensou?? Why isn't it translated?? I'm pretty sure most people would refer to the song as "Childish War", since it's been translated as that for quite a while.
Totemo Itai Igaritai being untranslated is also understandable, since the direct translation is just tacky, but then... why the hell is Gekokujou translated??? It's so fricking tacky when it's "Retainer Supplanting his Lord" like what?? Why?? Like I get it's a direct and literal translation, but why not just leave it as Gekokujou?? It just doesn't make sense in my opinion.
