I had a dream last night about a new animated Transformers movie that was a mix of the Prime and IDW timeline. In it, Megatron became an autobot and everyone was trying to finalize the end of the war, but then SOUNDWAVE comes back from the Shadow Zone pissed off because 1. no one looked for him 2. Megatron "surrendered". So Soundwave decides to finish what Megatron started, becomes the new leader of the Decepticons, and gets upgraded to a more armored version of his Prime design.

He gets Fortress Maximus and every decepticon that wasn't satisfied with the end of the war on his side, and becomes a bigger threat than Megatron ever was. Soundwave doesn't care for pride or glory. He only wants victory and he is efficent so he wouldn't hesitate to kill Optimus Prime nor Megatron, and that's what scares them.

Starscream ends up joining the Autobots after awhile because Soundwave was not taking the backstabing lightly. So it was the Autobots, the seeker trine, and a few other decepticons against Soundwave, an army of suped up vehicons, Fortress Maximus, Shockwave (we didn't really see him), and the rest of the decipticon army.

It looked so good in my head that I was very disappointed when I woke up and remembered that it wasn't a real movie coming out.

At least we have Transformers One.
