Does anyone on the face of the earth know how to fix this? If you can't tell, the selected icon is flickering wildly. It's not just the icon- if I try to type, the cursor flickers to the point that it misses keystrokes. I've had to disable PulseAudio because whatever this is causes the volume to mute and unmute constantly. For a while, it seemed like disabling audio worked... and then it didn't. I've looked through so many Linux forums, THOUGHT I found the solution, only to get nowhere. I throw myself at your mercy, oh gods of the internet. Send unto me someone who can help me troubleshoot Linux.
