favorite things as a writer:

when everyone fixates on the same line/section of the chapter because you know that means it was really powerful

when everyone points out a different part/line as their favorite because that means they are all finding meaning and value in parts of the story that speak to them which is no less important than finding meaning in the one big emotional moment of the chapter
