genuine tip i've learnt for maintaining routines as someone with adhd: count your attempts at doing the thing as having completed the thing.

eg: was i able to make a 'finished' paint study this week? no. but did i paint, or try to paint, at all? fuck yeah i did, and that took the same amount of time and effort as 'finishing' a painting would've. I think I deserve credit for that!
