Silence of the Ivy
If Ivypool never spoke up about the Dark Forest, and instead saw Mapleshade as a mother figure, causing her to betray her clan in the great battle on behalf of Mapleshade.

In this, Mapleshade would have a soft spot for kits, especially neglected kits. She would appear to Ivykit in a dream one night after Ivy had been ignored by her mother in favor of Dovekit. Ivy would be comforted by Mapleshade, as she was fussing over Ivykit as if she were her mother. After that night, every night Mapleshade would appear to Ivy, always playing with her, or fussing over her. Once Ivy became an apprentice, being dubbed Ivypaw, Mapleshade would slowly start to introduce her to the dark forest. Mapleshade would start to train Ivy in the night, although she would fuss over Ivypaw if she ever was hurt in said training. Eventually, Dovepaw would begin to notice how distant Ivy had became, and confided into Jayfeather and Lionblaze her concerns, although they decided to shrug it off as her being jealous of Dove. During this time, Ivy and Maple became extremely close, and Ivy even began to share the same disdain for the clans as all the others in the dark forest did. At that point, Ivy would actively refer to Maple as "Mom" or "Momma". Once the time came for Ivy and Dove to become warriors, Ivy insisted that her suffix be 'shade'. Firestar, being gernerous, decided to name her Ivyshade. Ivy was thrilled at this, and once nightfall came, she celebrated with her 'mom'. About 2 moons later, Ivyshade had pretty much the same beliefs and hates as the dark forest cats. She was ruthless in the practice sessions with other warriors who had been brought there. As she moved up the ranks in the dark forest, she got more and more information about the planned attack. She was thrilled. Once she killed a colleague in battle to prove her worthiness, she gained a superior position, and was told every thing about the plans for the Great Battle. She helped plan, which included giving weak spots of the ThunderClan camp, and which dens were what. She never thought for a moment to tell the clans, as she had no reason to in her mind. When the day came to attack, none of the clans were prepared, leading to many deaths. Ivy and Maple fought side by side, and when Ivyshade's biological mother attacked Maple, Ivy killed her. Ivyshade eventually attacks Hollyleaf. As the two were battling, Dovewing approaches Ivy from behind, and strikes. She slits Ivy's throat open, and as Ivy bled out onto the grass, Dove looked very crestfallen about what she had to do. Ivy wakes up in the dark forest, dead. She quickly travels back to the clans, to see that the dark forest had beaten the clans. They had won. Ivy searched through the crowd of shadowy forms for Maple, but found her nowhere. After a while day of searching, Ivyshade goes up to Hawkfrost. She questions where her 'mother' was, and he replies that she was gone. Ivy is devastated, and later makes a 'grave' for Mapleshade. After that, Ivy refused to speak, eventually losing the ability to do so. She became referred to as the Silent Ivy, her mind poisoned with violence, grief, and denial.
