Winter’s Heart
overview: A quest for a ruling partner in Winterfell brings an emotional turning point
warning: Emotional confrontation, self-doubt, no use of y/n
a/n: one out of many discarded stories on my notes.
· · ────── · · ·𖥸· · · ───────── ·
Cregan Stark paced the halls of Winterfell, his temper simmering beneath his calm exterior. For days now, Alysarria had evaded him, turning away whenever the subject of their future arose. The lords of the North were insistent—Cregan needed a wife, someone strong to rule at his side.
He knew who that should be. He had known for years.
Alysarria, a healer of House Mormont, beloved by the people, had been by his side through thick and thin. She had mended broken bones and soothed the wounded, but when it came to his heart, she seemed blind to what lay between them.
Tonight, that would end.
He found her in the Great Hall, attending to a villager with a minor wound. As soon as her work was done, he strode over, his presence commanding. "Alysarria," he said, voice firm. "A word."
She looked up, hesitation flickering in her eyes. "Cregan—"
"Now," he cut her off, leaving no room for argument. Without waiting for a response, he turned and walked toward the courtyard. Reluctantly, she followed.
The air outside was biting, the chill of winter wrapping around them like a shroud. The stars above were cold and distant, much like the silence between them. Finally, Cregan turned to face her, his eyes burning with intensity.
“I am done with this game,” he began, his voice low and full of frustration. “Every time I speak of us, you flee. Why?”
She opened her mouth to speak, but he cut her off again, his gaze hard. “I need to know why, Alysarria. Do you take me as a fool? That I do not see what is plain as day?”
Her heart pounded in her chest, fingers curling tightly around the edges of her cloak. “You know what is expected of you, Cregan,” she replied, her voice trembling. “Winterfell requires a strong Lady—someone who can rule with you, someone who can lead in times of war. I am but a healer.”
His eyes narrowed. “You think that makes you less worthy?”
“I know it does,” she countered, stepping back. “You need someone who can bear the weight of Winterfell. Someone who can fight beside you in the cold, in the dark. I am not strong enough for that, Cregan. You deserve more.”
Cregan’s expression darkened, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. “And what of your strength, woman? Do you not see it? The people of Winterfell trust you. They look to you for healing, for care, for guidance. Do you think that counts for nothing?”
She shook her head, tears welling in her eyes. “That is not the same, Cregan. I mend bones, I tend to the sick—I do not lead armies. I do not sit in council chambers deciding the fates of men. You need a woman who can stand tall beside you, who can face down enemies and wield the Stark name with authority. I am not that person.”
“You speak as though you know my mind better than I do,” he growled, frustration clear in his tone. “Do you truly think I care for lords and councils? That I need a warrior at my side?”
“I think you need more than I can give!” she cried, her voice breaking. “You are a Stark. You were born to lead, to rule, and I—” Her breath hitched, the weight of her own words crushing her. “I am not enough.”
Cregan’s jaw clenched, his eyes fierce with emotion. “You know nothing,” he hissed, stepping forward, his towering presence making her feel small. “You speak of strength and worth as though they are measured in battle or in council chambers. But it is you who keeps this place alive, Alysarria. You, who the people turn to in their darkest moments. The heart of Winterfell beats because of you.”
Her tears flowed freely now, the weight of his words too much to bear. “Cregan, I… I cannot be what you need.”
He stepped closer, his breath warm against the icy night air. “Do you truly believe I would ask this of you if I thought you lacking?”
She shook her head, unable to speak, her vision blurred with tears. “I fear I will fail you. I fear Winterfell will fall, and it will be my fault.”
Cregan’s hand grasped her chin, gently lifting her face to meet his gaze. His expression softened, the fierceness in his eyes replaced by something deeper, something more tender. “You will not fail. You have more strength than you know, Alysarria. And you will not face any of it alone. Not while I live.”
His words broke something inside her, the walls she had built around her heart crumbling. A sob escaped her lips, and she turned away, covering her face with her hands.
“I love you, Alysarria,” Cregan whispered, his voice raw. “And I need you by my side, not as a symbol of power, not as some shield to bear the Stark name, but as the woman who has stood by me my whole life. The woman who I trust above all others. You are enough. You always have been.”
She shook her head, still overcome with doubt. “But what if I am not? What if—”
“I will hear no more of this,” he interrupted, his hand moving to cup her face, his thumb wiping away her tears. “You are enough. You are everything.”
The silence between them was thick with emotion, the cold air swirling around them both as if waiting for her response. Slowly, she looked up at him, her tears subsiding. “Cregan…” she whispered, her voice trembling. “I am afraid.”
“So am I,” he admitted, his voice breaking. “But I would rather face that fear with you than without you.”
His words hung in the air, and for the first time in days, she allowed herself to believe that maybe, just maybe, he was right.
With a trembling breath, she nodded. “I… I will marry you.”
Relief washed over his face, and before she could say another word, his lips were on hers, a kiss filled with all the love, the hope, the fear that had been building for so long.
When he pulled away, his forehead rested against hers, his breath warm against her skin. “Together, we will face whatever comes,” he whispered. “Winterfell will stand, because we will stand together.”
And in that moment, beneath the cold Northern sky, Alysarria knew that Cregan Stark was her future.
And she was his.

a/n: i am back! so sorry for being inactive i am so happy to be able to write again i have missed you guys, getting through requests now, but it will probably take me awhile to get to the scream requests since im really unmotived to write for it but i missed writing for hotd so here you go, i hope you guys enjoy!

the first time he had ever spotted you was when he was eight. you had been assigned to be helaena personal maid. he had been standing in the courtyard preparing for another sword fighting lesson. he notices out of the corner of his eye aegon lifting his head before aegon mumbled under his breath and curse as he shakes his head bring his head back down. jacaerys looks up to see heleana, knowing of the recent betrothal and aegons distaste at the idea of course he would have a reaction like that. his eyes drifted over to the girl standing besides helaena and he felt a sudden sensation of butterflies flow into his stomach.
Curiously he picks it up and opens, It feels wrong of me to do this. Princess Heleena just recently taught me how to write and the first thing I felt I needed to do was write something to you. I hope you do not laugh. I hope that while I express myself you find it in yourself to listen. My eyes always find their way towards you. I always find myself thinking about you. I feel too embarrassed to write more though my heart yearns too. Forgive me my prince. I shall hope we talk more. With all i have,
He finds himself tracing the sloppy signing of your name at the end of your letter. His head can't make sense of the words you say despite the fact he wants to so badly. He falls back onto his bed and reads over your words over and over again with a fond look on his face, already planning on what he was going to write back. The two of you begin to write more and more letters to each other. It was easier than speaking in person. Things that could not be uttered in person were said over word, the letters grew more and more personal. He felt like he was looking into your soul with every word as you must have felt as well. But then lady Leana had passed and he had to go to driftmark to the funeral though he was more upset about the passing of ser harwin. Before he had left for driftmark you had slipped a letter for him before he had left. He didn't have the energy to open it then, feeling too much grief to read your sweet words. A part of him is glad he didn't because he didn't realize that would be the last he would see of you for many years. They did not return to king's landing which means he did not get to see you. No more letters, no more passing glances, no more you. He stayed in his bed and cried for awhile, he remembers his mother coming in and trying to comfort him but nothing had worked. Even ten years later he still mourned you like you had died, he had managed to get over his sad slump but you still lingered in his mind like a disease he could not cure, an itch he couldn't scratch. He wondered if you thought of him like he had thought of you. Word had come that they had to go back to king's landing. With lucerys position as heir to driftmark being challenged they were expected to return for a trial. While he feels as though he should be sad, he should be angry. His heart leaps with hope that he gets to see the dear maiden that had stolen his heart. He had never opened up your letter from all those years ago, wanting to savor and save what could be your last words to him for a special occasion. He decided that now would be the time, as he sits on his bed with his stuff packed, only minutes until they were set to leave with shaking hands he rips open the letter.
Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath he opens the letter and gasps. My prince, It broke my heart to find out you were leaving. I hope that you have not let your grief consume you, that you shall continue to be happy no matter what. He notices some large splotches of ink as if you had been pressing too hard against the paper in thought. I must tell you this though it is improper. When you return you will never speak to me again. You may never write to me again yet I must say this now. From the day we had locked eyes and my eyes saw you smile you hard earned the key to my heart. You are the chosen one. Hand selected as the owner to the place which you and only you will ever belong. I hope that you do not laugh. I hope that you are not repulsed or you are not hateful. From the day we met I have loved you and I shall think of you always for you are all I yearn for. I shall await your return. I know not how long you will be gone but I will be here, my sweet true love. I am but a low maiden yet you are everything to me as you must be to all. When you return you may choose to ignore this letter. I am more than willing to act as if this letter never existed, I will be the one to turn this letter myself if you wish. Just please, do not punish me by never speaking to me again for I fear my heart will never recover. With all my love, Yours.
The letter shakes vigorously in his hands as teardrops fall onto the page. He must see you. He gets up and rushes towards the yard where the rest of his family awaits where they are boarding to leave. With the letter clutched to his chest he runs through the halls, the only thought going through his mind being you. He carefully, or as carefully as he can with the adrenaline pumping through his veins and the nervous shaking of his hands, folds up the letter and stuffs it into his pocket before continuing to rush towards his dragon. An arm grabs him and he whips his head around ready to curse and scream at whoever it had been before his angry face softens. “My queen.” she cups his cheeks as she frantically looks him over. “Has something happened? Why are you crying, my son?”
He feels himself grow overrun with emotions as he stumbles, unable to answer. Instead he grabs the letter and presents it to her. “My.. she wrote to me.. Her letter I must.. I must..” he cannot find himself. He looks down at the ground as rhaenyra glances over the letter and looks at her son with a heartfelt look. “Do you love her, my boy?” his heart begins to hurt as he begins to think more and more about you as he nods. He lets out a strangled noise as he clutches his chest. “I must see her mother, I must.” He never calls her mother. rhaenyra feels herself overcome with an indescribable feeling as she lets him go. “We shall head out right this moment.” They do. He feels himself riding faster than he ever had. A part of him worries you will not be there. Maids are easily dismissed and rid of in kings landing so his heart hurts as he thinks he has missed you
. They arrive and he finds lucerys is stuck to his side. Despite the fact that all he wished to was run off to find you he knows he must take care of lucerys as well. Walking into the courtyard he's taken back to his childhood, with lucerys eyes locked onto the fight happening jacaerys finds his eyes looking around at the viewers watching from above the courtyard. Suddenly his eyes lock onto a very familiar set of eyes. Yours. You look as gorgeous as you did the day he had last shall you if not more. You were standing in the exact same place you were when he first saw you with a look of shock. He finds himself stumbling away from the crowd to get a better look at you as his heart pounds so loud his ears may begin to ring. You were here. Standing in front of him. He gulps and watches as you quickly rush towards the staircase down to the courtyard. His skin begins to burn as his legs begin to shake. Everything in his body telling him he should run to you. Bring you into his arms. Allow your skin to touch him. Suddenly you are standing in front of him, panting slightly while your eyes dart all over him with surprise. “My prince… you have returned.” He grabs one of your hands in a soft grip, he sees you inhale sharply as he brings your hand to his lips and places a kiss to the back of your hand. his lips burning as he aches to kiss your skin once more. “I am sorry to have kept you waiting, my love.” You gasp before a smile graces your lips and tears fill up in your eyes. “Truly?” He places yet another kiss onto your skin, “More than anything.”
y'all- I had an idea of a fanfic. its a stupid and crazy idea but idk😭 this is inspired by the jujutsu kaisen fanfic I read here in tumblr called the sweet old lady is a witch (I forgot the author but its so good, I def recommend it)
now, i would write it but I suck at writing and im too lazy so i'll just leave this fanfic suggestion here. wanda!reader x hotd.
the reader is wanda—if that makes sense—so, she got wanda's powers and past and storyline and she's just wanda.
after the whole DSMOM events, when the mount wundagore (i think thats what is was called) collapsed on her (wanda!reader), she transported somewhere, and ended up in dragonstone and the royal guards found her and informed the king yada yada yada.
Its a dumb idea but i just want to see how this story would go and how the Targaryens would react to her (wanda!reader) having powers and being so powerful. and how she would feel having a new home and moving on from the wandavision events and aou with her family's death.
i was debating whether it'd be a daemon or aemond x reader bc I thought it would be a great match or smth but it just might be me, but yk, you guys can decide.
(edit: if anyone is actually going to write this, please tag me bc i really wanna read it!!)

Excerpts from History:
History recounts how the marriage between the young yet ever dutiful black prince and the late wife of the Lord of the iron lands was arranged by the princess's elder brother, Prince Aegon Targaryen. It is that that the prince had learnt of his mother's plans to have his sister wed off to another lord, and was firmly against the notion. He approached his elder sister and the heir to the throne, Rhaenyra Targaryen.
The Lady regent of the Iron Lands was originally against the thought of remarriage at first, however, Prince Aegon was quick to persuade her to agree to the match stating that the black prince would be a better match than any other lord that their mother, Alicent Hightower, would place in front of her.

Indelible | Jacaerys Velaryon
(adj. impossible to erase or forget)

Pairing: Jacaerys Velaryon x fem!reader
Sum: Jacaerys realises he should have listened to you and told everyone about the two of you too late...
Or was it too late?
or in which
Jacaerys breaks up with you two years after secretly dating you, and you get wind of his potential engagement to your cousin the heir to your family's company.
Word count: 3,692 (give or take:/ I edited it and wasn't bothered to recheck the wc)
Warnings: idk nothing much. I tried to avoid using y/n but ended up using it like thrice (I think)
a/n: Reader's mother is the second child of a huge businessman and took on her husband's name upon marriage, but has business ties (her maiden name is Dayne but its not a big deal). Reader's father is a well-respected lawyer but it's not relevant. Jace is heir to the Targaryen family business. He's a little slow and doesn't connect dots until later on lol.

☆ Loving Jacaerys Velaryon was easy.
Keeping the fact that you loved him a secret was the hard part.
Two years.
For two years, you loved Jacaerys, and now you are hearing that his family was actively trying to set him up with your cousin.
What’s worse is that it makes perfect sense for them to get together.
Jacaerys is set to inherit the family company from his mother and your cousin is set to inherit your family's company from your uncle.
Why did he want to keep your relationship a secret in the first place? You didn't know, but you respected his decision nonetheless.
But two years of not being able to tell anyone?
You wanted to tell your parents and your older brother, you wanted to gossip with said cousin about your relationship, but Jace remained steadfast in his decision not to tell anyone.
He probably got fed up with you asking to become public and broke up with you, at least that was what you originally thought.
Two years of dates and I love you's gone just like that, all because Jace wanted to keep your relationship a secret and you were tired of not being able to tell anyone.
You had no interest in your mother's family company to be honest. No care for business or the likes, your interest is and will always lay within anthropology.
You loved it.
It was the perfect balance of history, science and mystery and everyone who knew you knew how much you loved a good mystery.
You loved the drama and the slight chaos whenever you got called in, and they say they found a body and having to find out what happened to it.
What was their story? What were they like? What was their life like? How did they end up like this?
Sometimes, it was a simple burial. Sometimes, it was an accidental death.
The murders were always the most interesting.
Of course, as an intern, you were usually not always assigned to the murder cases, but you always accepted any that came your way.
You loved the hunt, your curiosity always getting the best of you and the sense of relief, pride and justice that filled you once you found the identity of who was lying in front of you and who was responsible for it was always worth it.
You loved finding clues that helped catch the one responsible for the person's death, and being able to give families closure after their loved ones went missing was rewarding to you.
Yes, it was confronting and disgusting at times like the time a body was found at the landfill and you had to sift through weeks of rubbish to find missing bones (you were sure you would never be able to smell anything other than rotten food ever again) but you loved it regardless.
───────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────
You were once again sitting in the library at your corner.
It was one of your favourite spots on campus.
The window provided a perfect distraction when she needed a little break from her work. It was far enough from the other tables that no one bothered her but close enough that she could watch people go about their day when she was bored.
The shelfs also obscured their line of view of the table giving you privacy was always an added bonus.
“Having fun, pretty girl?”
You blink, shifting your gaze away from the window where you had been watching what seemed to be a very heated fight between a couple. You smile at your boyfriend.
“Hey,” You said. “You're here earlier than normal.”
Jace sits down next to you, letting his bag drop from his shoulder onto the floor.
“Finished early.”
“You look tired,” you said, taking note of the light dark circles under his eyes.
“Cause I am,” Jace groans, leaning into you. He practically shoves his face into the crook of your neck.
You shift sideways so he can rest his head comfortably and run your hand through his hair gently undoing any notes made from the wind outside.
“You should go home and sleep if you're tired, Jace.”
“Don’t wanna,” Jacaerys responds, not bothering to move his head from the crook of your neck. “Just wanna be here with you.”
You can’t help the upward tug of your lips.
“Careful Velaryon, someone might assume that you're obsessed with me.”
Jace huffs out a laugh, finally lifting his head and sitting back.
“They would assume correctly. What are you doing later?”
“I don’t know,” You shrug. “But it seems like you know what I’m going to do.”
Jace grins, grabbing his bag from the floor and digging around it before pulling out two tickets. “You are going to go visit that new exhibit at the museum with me.”
“You got tickets?" You can't hide your excitement. "How? I tried getting them for weeks but they were sold out, I even asked mum if she could pull some strings.”
“A magician never reveals his secrets,” Jace smiles. "You were going to ask your mum to get you tickets?"
You shrug lightly, grabbing the tickets from him, inspecting them before you all but throw yourself at him, hugging him. You pull away but grab one of his hands intertwining your fingers with his.
Jace nods along to your random facts about Egyptian history as he watches your eyes light up as you giggle and ramble on about the exhibit, squeezing your hand, bringing it up to his lip and kissing the back of it.
You barely react to the affection, already gotten used to the gestures and continue talking about Ramesses the great and his military accomplishments.
───────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────
Your first thought was that it was your fault.
Clearly, you must have done something wrong for Jace to break up with you.
You rack your brains for weeks afterwards to try and figure out what you've done wrong, but as you sit there in your little corner of the library, you realise you've done absolutely nothing wrong.
So then you wonder, why would he break up with you?
Was it because you brought up the fact of a public relationship more often than not these days? Did he suddenly think you weren’t pretty enough? Or were you and your random rants now annoying to him?
The tip of the pencil you had been using to draw snaps.
You thought it would be easy to get over him. After all no one knew you two were together so you weren't getting constant pity glances.
Turns out it was harder. Way harder.
You didn't have anyone to rant to, no one to lean on or cry to and you were practically at the end of your patience, about to call your brother and spill everything to him when you heard someone call your name.
"Oh my god finally!"
You turn only to be met with your best friend Baela, who coincidentally was also Jace's cousin. You smile at her, forcing yourself to push your previous thoughts to the back of your mind.
"What's got you so excited?" You ask her.
She plops down on the seat next to you.
“Why are you so hard to find?”
You laugh. “I’m always here Baela. You know that.”
She rolls her hands before leaning forward. You notice the glint in her eyes. Mischief. Her eyes were basically the same as Jace’s aside from the colour difference.
“It’s Jace,” she said. “Mum told me that Aunt Rhae was trying to set him up with Elise Dayne.”
You freeze slightly. “What?”
“I know! I was shocked as well!” Baela smiles, not realising the bombshell she had just dropped on you.
“Elise Dayne?”
Baela nods and rambles on about how she had seen Elise and Jace on a date the other day and how cute they had looked together. You smile and nod along but all you can think about was this was why he broke up with you.
Baela leaves to go to class but only after after telling you everything.
She leaves and you sit there for what felt like hours trying to wrap your head around what she had told you.
Jacaerys had broken up with you only to get together with your cousin.
You gather your things and walk to your car.
With your hands on the wheel you scream before you start laughing.
The laugh turns into choked out sobs as you let yourself cry for the first time since Jace left you.
───────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────
Seeing Jacaerys walk into your family home with his family had not been in your plans for tonight.
Frankly, if you had known this very important and must not miss family meeting was to officially announce his engagement to your cousin, you would have accepted that case on the unknown skeleton they found last week or gotten your professors to make something up so you could have an excuse not to turn up.
Instead, here you are, forced to stand and watch Jace smile and greet your cousin and her parents.
You stand in a corner next to your brother, tongue poking the inside of your cheek in slight annoyance.
You can tell the exact moment Jacaerys notices your presence.
You send him an overly sweet smile and watch him falter, confusion and something else flashing in his eyes before he blinks and puts his mask back up, turning and shaking your mother’s hand.
He had always been good at that, pretending that nothing was bothering him.
Your mother smiles and turns to you and your brother. Your brother nudges you, and you quickly plaster a pleasant smile on your face.
“This is my daughter and my oldest.”
Your brother shakes Jace’s hand and introduces him. Jacaerys turns his attention to you.
“Hi,” you smile, reaching out and shaking his hand. “Y/n. Pleasure to meet you.”
You watch him gulp, smile and greet you back.
You keep your distance and stay quiet the entire time the two families eat. You know your brother has noticed because he keeps sending you odd looks, but you brush them off, not bothering to pay him any mind or explain your current predicament to him.
What does bother you is Jace.
He keeps looking over at you, most of the time it’s short glances but sometimes you can feel his gaze boring into the side of your head as you answer the questions his brothers, Lucerys and Joffery ask about your degree, his mother occasionally asking a few of her own.
You make sure to keep your answers brief. Your degree was hardly dinner conversation, and you didn't want anyone's dinner resurfacing in any way.
You make sure to turn to him and give him a smile. He snaps out of his daze every time, blinking a couple of times before tuning back into whatever your cousin was talking about.
At some point in the night, you get up, telling your brother you needed to get something from your room.
You don’t notice Jace’s eyes following you as you walk away, and you sure as hell don’t hear him excuse himself to go to the bathroom.
You startle slightly as you feel someone grab your wrist. You don’t even need to turn around to realise who it was.
The soft scent of sandalwood tells you enough.
“What are you doing?” you hiss under your breath, looking over his shoulder to make sure no one had seen the both of you before pulling him into your room.
Jace looks around, taking in his surroundings.
He can’t really help it. It was the first time he had been in your room. He notices the photo wall full of polaroids you told him about making and the string of fairy lights you had bought together after convincing him to go shopping together.
“I didn’t know you were related to her,” Jace said.
“I told you who my mother was,” you scoff. “It was pretty fucking obvious Jace.”
Neither of you notice the person standing by the door, listening in on the conversation through the slight crack.
“Well you could have straight up told me,” Jace argues.
“You're arguing with me because I didn’t give you my mother’s government name? Are you serious? I told you her name, where she worked and what she did. I even told you she was helping coordinate that joint event with your mother! I couldn’t have been more obvious, it’s not my fault you couldn’t put two and two together!”
Jace opens and closes his mouth. It's not like she was wrong.
“This,” you whisper. “This is why you broke up with me? If you had known, would you have stayed? Would you have let me tell everyone that we dated?”
Jace winces at your harsh tone but otherwise stays silent, giving you your answer.
“I can’t believe you.”
“You think I wanted this?” Jace said. “You think I knew my parents were gonna set me up with her?”
“Clearly you did since you refused to tell anyone about us.”
“That’s not -”
“Don’t,” you cut him off. “Just don’t.”
You sigh and shake your head.
“You need to go. Leave first, and then I can follow after a couple of minutes.”
Jace grabs your hand before you can push him towards the door. “Wait, just -”
“You need to go,” you repeat. “If you haven’t noticed your fiancé-to-be is down the hall along with the rest of my family and we both have better things to do then stand here and argue over a topic we already know our stance on. Also, I have somewhere I need to be.”
With that, you pull your hand away from his and walk away. He follows you into the hallway, hears you say bye to your family, and watches you turn to leave.
Fuck.
How was he going to fix this?
───────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────
Looking back on it, Jacaerys really didn't know how he didn't put two and two together.
He had met your mother on numerous occasions considering that she worked with his mother for joint events and whatnot.
You were practically a carbon copy of your mother as well.
The hair, the eyes, the intellect. Everything about you screamed Dayne and his stupid brain couldn’t piece together the fact that you were related.
How the fuck did he not know?
All those times when you had told him your mother was away on business and he had commented that his mother was gone as well.
He groans, running a hand down his face.
Rhaenyra, who had been standing by the doorway for the past five minutes watching her son have what looked like a mental breakdown, finally decides to make her presence known.
It was time to talk some sense into her son.
“Jace.”
“Mother.”
“Can I come in?” His mother asks.
Jace nods and she walks into the room.
“Want to tell me what’s on your mind?” she questions. “Luke is complaining about your constant groans.”
Jace normally would have laughed but all he can do is sigh.
“What’s wrong, Jace?” his mother asks again.
“I messed up,” Jace mutters. “Really bad, and I don’t know how to fix it.”
His mother nods, walking forward and sits beside him on the bed.
“Why don’t you tell me everything so I can help?”
Jace looks at her, hesitates for a moment before the flood gates open, and he tells her everything.
He tells her about how you two met, about your first date, about how he wanted to keep your relationship a secret, and you had been okay with that for a while.
He tells her how he broke up with you because she wanted him to get together with your cousin.
He doesn’t leave anything out, and his mother just sits and listens to everything.
When he’s done she stays quiet.
“Jace,” she asks softly. “Why didn’t you tell me? Why didn’t you say anything?”
Jace forces himself to hold back the tears threatening to spill out of his eyes.
“I don’t know. I don’t -” he shakes his head. “I was afraid that you wouldn’t approve, and I didn’t want to lose her, but I guess it’s too late for that now.”
Rhaenyra reaches out and holds his hands.
“If I had known you loved someone like that,” she said. “I wouldn’t have set you up. I would never deny you your happiness. Even if she wasn’t what I envisioned for you, I wouldn’t have made you leave her, Jacaerys.”
His bottom lip wobbles. “What do I do now?”
Rhaenyra smiles and whips away a stray tear from his cheek.
“Jace?”
He hums.
“Do you like her?”
“What?”
“Do you like her?”
“I love her,” Jace said. “A lot.”
His mother smiles. “Then what are you doing here?”
He stays quiet, blinking at his mother.
“If you love her, why aren’t you with her?” His mother said. “Go get her back, Jace. If you love her, fight for her.”
Jacaerys stands up quickly and nods. He grabs a jacket from his chair and is gone the next second.
Rhaenyra watches him leave shaking her head with a soft smile.
That foolish boy.

You were on campus, specifically at the building where your professors kept the unidentified bodies that had been sent over after being found.
You weren't allowed to have phones near the workstations or the bodies and even if you were you would have never bothered to bring it up with you.
Who in their right mind wants to touch their phone with people juice on their hands, regardless of whether or not you were wearing gloves?
Not to mention that you would have kept having to change your gloves as well, and that would do your head in.
Your phone was in your bag, which in turn was in your personal locker outside, which meant you had no idea that Jacaerys had been trying to get a hold of you for the past hour.
You had no idea that he was calling you or texting you to ask for your whereabouts.
Luckily for him, you were slightly predictable.
You had just finished writing down your notes for the Jane Doe in front of you and making sure her bones were locked away and secure.
You swiped your student card into the security slot, and the doors outside opened. Smiling and waving to the security guards stationed outside the lab, you grabbed your bag from the the opposite wall, holding the lockers.
You push open the door and stop short.
It was raining, because of course it was.
You put your notes in your bag and started walking to your car, which was conveniently parked at the far end of the parking lot.
You had been too busy re-reading and protecting your over your notes while speed-walking to your car to realise that Jacaerys had been waiting outside waiting for you.
You couldn’t hear him call your name over the sound of the rain.
When the rain suddenly stops falling on you, you look up only to be met with the slight of an umbrella.
You turn confused and are met with a panting Jacaerys.
“You walk really fast,” he said, slightly bent over as he caught his breath.
You just stare at him. “What are you doing here?”
He stands up straighter.
“Uh, I came to apologise.”
“What?”
“I’m sorry,” Jace said. “For everything. I’m sorry for being stupid and not putting two and two together. For keeping us a secret and breaking up with you. I’m sorry.”
“Where is this coming from?” you question.
“I came to a realisation,” Jace answered. “I can’t live without you.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Is that right?”
“I hate the fact that we aren’t together anymore. I hate the fact that I didn’t tell anybody we were together,” Jace said. “I hate being away with you. I hate not being with you. I hate not being able to hold and tell you I love you every day. I’ll do better this time. I swear it.”
“Careful Velaryon,” you say, stepping forward. “People could assume you are obsessed with me.”
Jace’s lips tug upwards, and he nods, closing the gap between the two of you completely, leaning down.
“They would assume correctly.”
The world around the two of you fades into the background as he leans forward, his lips brushing against yours.
The air around the both of you seemed to warm. You don’t know who leans in first, and you don’t care.
All you cared about was the fact that Jacaerys was kissing you again. That he was yours again.
Your eyes flutter close as your lips meet, and the umbrella protecting the two of you from the rain drops to the floor as he pulls you closer.
You don’t register that you drop your bag to hold onto his collar and pull him even closer.
You could have sworn lighting flashed through the sky as your lips met, but maybe that was you imagining things. You had almost forgotten what it felt like to kiss him.
Those sparks when your lips touched his, that feeling of something more.
Of something real.
Your heart skips a beat
“You know you’re stuck with me forever now right?” Jace said as he pulled away smiling.
You laugh and Jace sees that familiar sparkle of light in your eyes. The ones that remind him of stars.
“I think it’s you that’s stuck with me.”
He grins leaning in to kiss you again. “I love you.”
“And I love you,” you smile into the kiss.
A particularly cold and harsh gust of wind coupled with the booming sound of thunder breaks the moment and you shiver.
Jace goes to pick up the umbrella that had fallen. Luckily, the wind hadn't carried it too far off.
Your eyes follow him before they fall on your wet bag on the floor. The bag that had your notes. The bag that held the notes that you had been painstakingly working on for the past few hours.
You scream, causing Jace to jump.
“You little shit! You made me drop my notes! I take it back! I hate you!”
Jacaerys laughs as you pick up your bag and hit him with it. He runs away as you chase him in the rain, cursing him out for letting you ruin your notes.
You really wouldn’t have it any other way.
Well, except maybe with dry notes.

The sound of metal clanging together and conversation filled your ears as you stood in the training yard of the red keep.
“So, Princess Rhaenyra is coming back to kings landing?” Your best friend, Lara strong, asked as you both watched your bother and Ser Criston Cole duel.
Lara was the daughter of Larys Strong, with her father and your mother’s sort of friendship, you grew close over the years.
“Yes, supposedly her children’s great uncle has question Lucerys’ legitimacy to the driftwood throne.” You informed her.
“I’d like to see that go down.” She joked, earning her a laugh from you.
You watched a pair of brunette boys step down into the yard. All eyes turned on them and you realized who they were. Your bastard nephews.
You squinted your eyes to get a better look at the boys as they messed around with the table of swords.
You brushed down your pink and white gown, lifting up the bottom to step closer to see the boys. The shorter one had a mop of dark brown hair and big eyes, looking very similar to the late Ser Harwin strong. Though the taller one, looked more like your half-sister Rhaenyra, just with dark brown locks. This was obviously Jacaerys, and oh how he’d grown.
“Well, look who’s here..” you said as you held your hands together with a smirk on your face.Your attention drew towards the current duel taking place.
You watched Aemond move swiftly as he dodged Ser Criston’s attacks. His sword was swinging gracefully as he finally pointed the tip towards Criston’s neck, essentially winning the fight.
Jace and Luke moved towards the crowd and watched the men fight, though when it ended, the sword was pointed to them.
“Nephews…have you come to train?” Aemond asked.
Your smirk only grew when their faces fell from the smiles they once had. Jace’s gaze flicked from Aemond to you, his eyes widening at the sight of you staring at him.
This gave you a moment to take in his grown features. He may be a bastard but damn, does he look handsome as ever. You shouldn’t be having these thoughts but his good looks are clouding you mind and your judgement of him.
You watched as he gulped, his face turning a slight pink as the gate opened and the guards announced Vaemond Velaryon’s arrival.
You and Lara giggled to yourselves as Vaemond gave Lucerys a death stare as he passed, the poor boy looked as if he was going to piss himself as the older man walked by.
“Poor boy…” Lara laughed.
“Come with me.” You said as you stepped towards your nephews. Jacaerys turned his attention back towards you as he heard steps growing closer to him.
“Nephews! How wonderful it is to have you back..” You said with a fake smile, your fingers laced together in front of you, pushing your arms against your tits to push them together.
Jace’s eyes moved down to your breasts, his pink cheeks only grew in color. Luke grimaced at the sight of his brother clearing fawning over their aunt.
“I’m surprised you’re happy to see us, especially how we left each other so long ago…” Jace spoke up.
“Hm…well time has passed, has it not?” You glared slightly at the taller man in front of you, remembering the not so found memory.
“I guess. I-it’s very good to see you too, Y/N. You’ve…grown.” He says as he shamelessly looked you up and down.
You hand touched his arm, caressing his bicep as you begin to walk away, “Why, thank you! have a nice day, Jacaerys.” You smirked, brushed your white curls behind your shoulder.
“You as well, Lucerys.” You called as you walked towards the stairs of the yard.
“The audacity of him to mention that!” Lara said as she caught up with you.
“Bastard!” You grumbled as you rolled your eyes at the interaction. You silently prayed for Vaemond to eat them alive tomorrow with his words.

Summer was ending and winter was approaching swiftly. With the wind howling each night, the air had felt dry and the sun had seemed to not have much of effect on the chill that was coming.
The sunlight had began peaking through the cracks of the curtains on the windows, shining in her eyes and awaking her from her slumber. She stretched her muscles and groaned quietly at the aching of her bones. The furs that covered her body had fell onto the bed as she rose from the pillows.
Her dark curls cascaded down her bare back, the ticklish feeling of her hair on her skin made her shiver. The cool air made her nipples harden. She slipped out of bed and shifted on her robe before stepping over the fireplace and lit up a fire with a piece of flint. The warmth of the fire began to heat up the chamber, making the girl smile in delight.
She opened up her wardrobe and her hands led her to a beautiful red dress, one of her favorites. She felt today may be a good day, so why not wear it.
She slipped off her robe and bared herself to the stone walls of her chamber, before stepping into her dress and tying the laces of the corset back. She took the fur coat and slid it over her shoulders.
A knock was sound at the wooden door, “you may enter!” The stark girl spoke. Entered her brother, Cregan and her dog, whom he gifted her when she was a mere girl, Grim, waltzed into her apartment.
“Well hello there, big boy!” She knelt down as the dog ran up to the. Grim had the appearance of a direwolf yet smaller, a reason Cregan had gifted her the pet.
“Good morrow to you too, sister.” Cregan laughed. Grim licked her cheek, she giggled at the wet, ticklish feeling of his harsh tongue on her cheek. “I apologize, I just like him more.” She said as she scratched behind the dogs ears.
“Well, I won’t debate with you about that, he is more cuddly than I am.”
“Come, we must go attend to the training lessons. It is always quite funny to see the boys get put on their asses by one another.” She said to which Cregan had a laugh over.
His arm in her hand, they walked through the castle together and stepped out into the chilly air of the outdoors. The winds were calm and the sun was shining down upon the horizon.
Swords clashed together as boys of winterfell trained with the experienced men. “Stand tall!” Cregan shouted at one of the boys whom was hunched over during his attack.
She ran a kind hand down her brother’s bicep before sitting down on a crate as she watched the training session. Some of the boys whom stood on the sidelines began whispering among themselves as they stared at the woman.
The winter beauty, she was known as, Sister of Lord Cregan Stark, the lady of winterfell, one of the most unobtainable women in the North, unless they want to feel the wrath of her brother.
Screeching could be heard in the distance. “Dragon!” Yelled men from the towers and the wall. The lady jumped from her seat and beside her brother.
Grim ran up to his owners, standing in front of them, ready to defend. “Come, boy.” Cregan said as he lead both his sister and the dog to the gates of winterfell
“Tis Prince Jacaerys Velaryon, ‘said he has word from his mother, the queen!” A man from above shouted towards Cregan. “Open the gates!” He nodded.
The wooden gates slowly opened, revealing a curly head of hair and a yellow dragon. The prince turned his head around to reveal his features. The lady had felt her face heat up, a curious thing indeed. No man had ever made her swoon.
And she was swooning. A heat had arose in her belly as he walked towards the siblings. Her lips parted as she stared the boy down, she had never seen a man who had been so beautiful.
Grim had nudged his head against his owners thigh, practically begging her to step out of her trance and stop embarrassing herself in front of royal blood.
She quickly shut her mouth and straightened herself before he approached the pair.
“M’lord.” The Velaryon prince bowed and took Cregan’s hand in a firm shake. “M’lady.” He took her and pressed a soft kiss on the top of her knuckles, perhaps trying to kill her right there and then.
“My prince.” Cregan bowed, she quickly followed in her brother’s path.
“Perhaps we should talk elsewhere.” Cregan said as the expression on the prince’s face began to sour before he spoke.
The lord of winterfell led his sister and the prince to his private chambers, his personal workplace of sorts. “Please, sit.” He offered as he pointed to the chair in front of the desk, making his own way around to his chair.
His advisor stood behind him, her hands entwined in front of her as her dog laid himself at her feet.
“War is approaching M’lord. I am here to gain your support for my mother’s claim, your father swore an oath to my mother when she was named heir.” The prince began.
The air was taken from the lady’s chest as she heard news of war. “War? Has the heir’s claim come into question?” She spoke up.
“More or less, the Hightowers, upon my grandsire’s death, usurped the iron throne and placed Aegon Targaryen on my mother’s seat.” Jacaerys sighed.
Cregan seemed puzzled and his expressions were unclear. He slumped into his chair, “My apologies, my prince, but I cannot just give my support without knowing full and well what the North as a whole will be supporting, oath or not.”
Jacaerys nodded. “I understand, my lord.”
“How about this, spend a few nights in the North and help me gain an understanding of this cause I am supporting.” Cregan said without a second thought.
“Very well, M’lord. I shall send word to my mother.” Jacaerys smiled.

War was coming. After years of peace and prosperity in the realm, the house of the dragon was divided and all would feel its wrath.
Cregan had assigned his sister to help the prince to his chambers, the empty one across from her own. Nervously, she did, leading his through the halls of their estate, touring his around as they passed rooms.
“And this will be your chambers.” She said as she opened the wooden door and stood to the side awaiting for him to follow her inside.
“I understand it may not meet your standards of living but it’s one of the best we have.” She stared at the ground as she spoke. Winterfell was beautiful, any northerner would agree but it wouldn’t meet the expectations of someone from the south, especially a prince.
“It’s perfect.” He said. Her gaze lifted and found the prince already looking at her. She felt small under his stare. Her mouth felt dry and her cheeks felt hot, how could a man be so beautiful? She could never know.
“I- Well…I should get out of your way so you may get comfortable. I’m right across the hall, if you need anything, my prince, I’d be happy to help.” She bowed before stepping towards the door to leave.
“Thank you, my lady. You are very kind.” He smiled at her as she left. She practically tripped over her own feet as she stared at his smile.
Her pace quickened to make it to her room as soon as possible. She let out a breath she didn’t know she had been holding for when she shut her door. No man has ever made her feel or act like a fool in their presence.
“Gods, what’s wrong with me?” She spoke to herself as she pressed her palm to her forehead. She began pacing through her chambers, hands on her hips as she thought of what was wrong with herself.
A knock came at her door and in came her lady-in-waiting, Arina (Ah-ree-nah), quickly walking in and shut the door.
“I heard the prince of dragonstone was here. Did you get to meet him?” She asked excitedly, almost jumping with joy.
“Yes..” Lady Stark said slowly as she sat herself down on a bench in front of her bed. “What has happened?” Arina’s once joyful expression fell, immediately sitting down with her lady and taking her hands into her own.
“War is approaching. But…that’s not all.” Arina’s jaw dropping, “War? What do you mean? And what else has happened?”
The lady gulped, “The prince…I act like a fool in front of him, and I’ve only just met the man!” She laid her head against the post of her bed, embarrassed with herself.
“Well, he is a prince. Is he handsome?” She asked, curious to know. “Devilishly so.” She replied.
“Perhaps, you are falling for him. Someone has finally struck the lady of winterfell’s heart!” She smiled and placed a mocking hand over her chest. The lady scoffed, standing up immediately to get away from the annoying girl.
“I am not falling for him, I merely just met him.” She sighed.
“Many people have falling in love at first sight. I did with my Charlie. I was falling as soon as I saw those beautiful bright green eyes.” She gleamed at the thought of her husband.
Arina’s husband was the best blacksmith in town, they had met a few years ago while her and lady stark had went in town to aquire the new sword that Cregan had commissioned for her.
And now they are married with two children, one of the loveliest couples in winterfell.
“Well, I better get on going. I’ve got some chores to do before we have that feast tonight.” Arina began before heading for the door.
“Feast?” Lady stark questioned.
“Didn’t your brother tell you? For the prince.” She replied.
“I was just about to, but thank you, Arina.” Cregan’s deep voice sounded from the doorway. Arina turned herself to face the tall man.
“You are very welcome, My Lord. I will be back later to help dress you, My lady!” She called as she walked out.
Cregan let out a breathy laugh before stepping into his sister’s room, Grim following behind him. “I arranged this feast to welcome the prince to winterfell, as he is to stay for the next days.” Cregan explained, earning him a nod from his sister.
“I need you to inform him, I have lots to do before this quickly planned event.” He said, “alright.” She sucked in a deep breath. Lord stark took his leave down the hall, his large fur coat swaying as he walked.
“Come, Grim.” Lady Stark said as she stepped towards the Prince’s apartment, taking yet another deep breath before knocking. His door swings open, and reveals the handsome prince to her sights.
“Didn’t think I’d see you so soon, My lady.” Jacaerys smiled, “my apologies for disturbing you, my prince.” She began.
“No need to apologize, My lady. You’re not a disruption at all.” He said. Grim finds himself strutting inside the prince’s chambers, curiously looking around the room.
“Grim! No-“ she instinctively runs after him, forgetting herself in that very moment. She trips over the wood floor and before she hits the hard ground, a strong arm catches her.
“My lady, are you alright?” He asked as he placed both hands on her waist to steady her.
Her heart is pounding outside of her chest, she finds it hard to breathe in such a stuffy room. Her eyes shoot all across his face, taking in this moment to see him up close without even realizing it.
“I am very sorry, I didn’t mean to fall onto you. How rude of me-“ she rambled. Jacaerys chuckled, “You didn’t, My lady. I am perfectly fine. Now, are you alright?” His eyes meet hers, a concerned look is upon his face.
“I am alright, I am incredibly sorry for my dog, he is usually well behaved.” She said.
His touch felt hot thought the fabric on her body, her chest rose and fell quickly, the corset feeling rather constricting. A warmth in her lower stomach began to bloom, his gaze was intense and making her feel things she felt she shouldn’t have.
She felt his hands leave her waist. He coughed awkwardly, “I apologize for my forwardness. I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable.”
“You didn’t-“ she began, “so, what did you need me for, my lady?” He smiled kindly as they spoke at the same time.
Of course, the feast. She was so entranced by him that she almost forgot the main reason she was there.
“My brother has planned a feast tonight, in honor of your arrival. As a welcome to winterfell.” She said.
“I appreciate your hospitality. From you and your brother.” She grinned, nodding her way before seeing her way out, her dog following her as she pats her thigh as a commands
She reached the door as a hand caught hers, stopping her in her tracks.
Her head whipped towards the prince, his hand enclosed in hers.
“Shall I see you there, my lady?” He asked hesitantly, not wanting the interaction to end so soon.
“Of course, my prince.” She said with a soft laugh.
“Jace. Please, call me Jace.”
“I shall see you tonight, Jace..”

The scent of Lavender filled the air of the chambers as the Lady Stark sat in the warm water of her bath, her nerves on edge for the night to come. Arina sat near the tub, scrubbing her lady’s arm.
“Don’t be so nervous, my lady. He is just a man.” Arina attempted to soothe her nerves, yet to no avail.
“I know, i cannot understand what is wrong with me. I am usually very well with men.” Lady stark took joy in toying with men who saw her for only her beauty, she drew them in close before letting them feel her brother’s wrath.
Both her and her lady-in-waiting found amusement in seeing how far the men would go for her just because she was a beautiful woman. Men only think with their cocks, not their hearts. And she wanted a man that was the opposite and who would love her for who she really was.
“I cannot wait to see this mysterious prince who caught the eye of my lady.” Arina smiled before her lady rolled her eyes, giving her a smile.
“Men are the easiest thing to swoon when you are beautiful, beauty is the most dangerous power in the world.” Arina said.
Lady stark hummed in agreement before casting her eyes on her lady-in-waiting. Her beautiful ginger curls and gorgeous blue eyes made her the most unique woman in winterfell. She was a kind woman, taking care of everyone around her. In some ways, the Lady Stark looked up to her.
“Alright, let’s get you dress.” She said as the lady stood from the bath, revealing her bare body to the woman in front of her.
“Not meaning to be crude, my lady, but with a body like yours, you shouldn’t have much troubles with attracting the prince.” Arina winked at the bare woman before they both bursted into laughter.
Arina wrapped a robe around the woman as she sifted through her wardrobe, pulling out a beautiful black dress.
She smirked at the dress in hand, “this should do just fine.”
The lady stark giggled at the woman, feeling rather excited for the feast after all.

Chatter and laughter filled the hall. Cregan and some men and the prince sat at the end of the hall at the long table filled with delicious foods and ale. With introductions and jokes filled the air, the prince felt at ease with men around him.
Though, the Lady stark caught his eye as she and her lady-in-waiting walked into the hall. He had never seen beauty as rare as hers. Though he was betrothed to Baela, and she was a wonderful girl, he couldn’t help but fawn over the Lady stark.
“They call her the winter beauty, y’know. She really is the most beautiful girl in the north. Took all the looks from her mother and Lord Stark here is stuck lookin’ like his father!” The men boasted with laughter as Cregan smiled and scoffed at the joke.
The men began talking of Northern women as the two came over, Her lady-in-waiting falling into the arms of her husband, a man with dirty blonde hair and striking green eyes.
The Lady Stark pressed a kiss to her brother’s cheek before sitting beside him, the opposite side from the prince.
“Before our Lord Stark here wed, he was a real ladies man!” A man said, shaking Cregan from his shoulders.
“Tell the prince, M’lord! Northern women fuck like mad women! Best feelin’ in the world!” Another said, all the men laughed as they chugged their ale.
The prince’s gaze met the Lady Stark’s, though, hers was already on him. A curious look casted on her face, as if she was trying to read him.
His mind became flooded with the idea of her beneath him, or perhaps on top of him. The dress she had on made her breasts look amazing, as they practically spilled out of her top. The explicit thoughts about her made him feel terrible, how could he think about a woman that had been nothing but kind to him like that?
He quickly tore his gaze from her and chugged the ale in his jug to ignore the growing bulge in his breeches, groaning as he was finished with it. The men around him cheered, proud of the prince’s efforts.
What he didn’t know was that the Lady was imagining some of the same thoughts he was. Her small clothes becoming damp with her arousal. She gulped at the feeling, becoming more aware of her surroundings as she became hot with all the people around her.
“So, how is it up south, my prince?” One of the men asked. Jace was glad for the distraction, “Much warmer than this climate, I’d say.”
“Too cold for the princeling?” A woman asked from a man’s lap.
“The prince is a dragon. Dragon’s thrive in heat. I wouldn’t think you’d understand.” Spoke the Lady stark, defending the man from the teasing joke.
His head whipped towards the woman, as did everyone else’s. Everyone astonished at her sudden quip.
Jacaerys had never felt more desire for a woman as he did now. All manners and restraint he had learned from his mother were mere seconds from being thrown out the window.
She quickly rose from her seat, whispering an excuse before racing off to her chambers. The arousal she felt was eating at her, wanting to crawl out of her like a beast.
She panted out heavy breaths as she reached her chambers, feeling feverish as the prince plagued her thoughts.
Her lady-in-waiting rushed in just moments after. “What happened?” She said as she took her hands into her grasp.
“Why do I feel such things for a man I just met? He must have bewitched me!” She sighed as she sat down at the bench in front of her bed, bringing Arina with her.
Arina giggled at her lady’s jest. “Everything will be alright, my lady. You cannot hide from your feelings and desires.” She said as her lady laid her head on her shoulder.
“I have never felt this way for anyone..” she pouted. Arina silently laughed, “Love is a silly thing, my lady. It is the most confusing yet most wonderful thing. Even in the earlier stages.”
“It is not love, Arina. It is just a silly crush!” She rose her head from her shoulder.
“Whatever you say, my lady.”

The sounds of panting and skin slapping together filled the prince’s rooms. The light of the fire reflected off their sweat glistened bodies as they were consumed with each other.
“Fuck-“ he gasped as he ducked his head into the crook of her neck, holding onto her hips for dear life as she rode him with such determination.
Her fingers laced themselves into his dark curls, tugging onto them lightly as she moaned into his hair.
“Jace- gods!” She groaned, removing herself from his hair and holding his face into her hands, pressing their foreheads together.
She pressed delicate kisses onto his lips. Something so innocent during an act as erotic as this. Their love for each other flowed through the room.
“My love..” He whispered against her soft lips, to which she smiled. His cock throbbed inside of her, earning himself a moan from his sweet sister.
He began kissing down her neck, his lips hot against her skin. Her reached her chest, and then her nipples. She moaned as his wet mouth engulfed her breast, her hands finding their way back to his curls.
“You are mine- we were made for each other..” she breathed into his ear, a smile plastered onto her face as she began to reach her high, the pleasure consuming them both.
That was before his chamber door opened, halting them both in their tracks. Both of their heads whip towards the door to see their step-father, daemon smirking at the two.
“It’s not what-“ Jace started before daemon stoped him, “don’t think of me as a fool, boy.” He laughed.
“Carry on,” he said before shutting the door. His laughter was heard down the halls of the castle.
Jace’s head nestled into her chest, she caressed his head as their hearts raced. The embarrassment of getting caught running through their veins.

“Your daughter is of age to be wed, my queen. Perhaps we should begin finding her a match.” One of the council men said around the table, the queen silently agreeing.
“Jace is always a good option.” Daemon suggested with a smirk.
“Jace? Her twin? There are several good candidates from good houses that-“ another began, but the queen looked towards her husband, urging him to go on.
“We should betroth them, they’d be the next Alysanne and Jahaerys. Perhaps, even Aegon and Rhaenys.” Daemon said.
“What of his betrothal to Baela?” Rhaenyra asked.
“Aegon had two wives, Rhaenys and Visenya.” He smiled.

“Jace-!” She gasped as he pounded into her from behind, her bum high in the air as she laid her head on his soft sheets, gripping them tightly.
He panted loudly, his thrusts quick and rough, no intention of stopping his pace anytime soon. “Slow down, my love..” she breathed.
“Fucking traitorous- usurper cunts.” He spit. His cock filled her cunt so wonderfully, the burn in her belly blossomed with his fast pace, his tip constantly hitting her most sensitive spot.
Her moans were loud and passionate and only fueled his drive to make her peak, her cunt could always make him feel better.
Her soft hand found its way behind her, gently holding his own as he pounding into her. An action so delicate for one so vulgar and a symbol of her love for him no matter what.
He felt himself throb inside her slick, tight cunt. The wet sounds of her core rang through the room and almost echoed in the background of her whimpers and moans.
She was so close, nearly tipping off the edge. “Right there! Please- Jace-!” She gripped onto the pillow below her.
“Oh, my sweet girl,” he groaned as he took his final thrusts inside of her sweet cunt, he ran a soothing hand down the small of her back.
Euphoria erupted within her, the burning hot pleasure of her peak running rapid through her body as her cunt spasmed around his thick cock.
Jace quickly followed after, his grip tight on her hips as he filled her with his spend. They were to be married in a few moons, so why not start the process sooner?
Court Shenanigans
Summary ✩ Missing their father, your children decide it’s a good idea to interrupt him in the middle of court
Warnings ✩ Mentions of pregnancy
Authors Notes ✩ Everyday I cry cause this man isn’t real but at least I have fanfic

You tried to stop them, you really did.
But being almost nine moons pregnant and having the most swollen feet known to man, it was almost impossible to chase after and keep up with two rowdy tots.
Usually, their nursemaids would have them by now and would be helping to assist you, but Aliza was sick and Joanna was with her family. Both of them would have scolded you for trying to run when you couldn’t even see your feet, but your kids were a mischievous bunch and you had a sinking feeling on where they were headed.
Aemma, the eldest of the two twins, had been complaining all day about not being able to see her father, as Jace had missed out on breakfast and lunch with her in order to hear a few extra petitions.
It seemed as if the Kingdom was more unruly than usual, and Lords had come from all over the realm to plead their cases.
Wanting to be a good King and make sure that he could adhere to all of his subjects, Jace had opted to spend a little extra time on the throne and a less with his family.
This of course didn’t sit well with Aemma, and as her shadow Jaelin followed right on along with her.
Try as you might have, you weren’t fast enough to catch up to them and your protests for them to stop didn’t do much good, either.
Before you could even blink, your twins were flying past the Kingsguard and bursting into the throne room, with little Aemma’s excited shouting making you want to crawl into a hole right there and then.
“Kepa!”
In no time your baby girl ran across the room, interrupting some poor Lord under a pink banner. You thought that he might’ve been from White Harbor, or maybe he was from Maidenpool.
Whatever it was, you didn’t pay much attention as suddenly, all chatter stopped, and you were the center of attention as you wobbled towards Jacaerys and fixed Aemma with a stern glare.
“Aemma! Come back here!” You shouted after her sternly, and thankfully Jaelin was too afraid of your ‘motherly voice’ to get any closer.
He stopped just short of the Iron Throne, choosing to remain by Ser Darklyn’s side rather than follow his sister up the steps. With horror, you realized that Aemma was headed straight to Jacaerys, exclaiming happily as she threw herself in her father’s open arms.
“Kepa!”
She bounced excitedly as Jace pulled her on his lap, looking amused while you struggled to catch your breath.
Running at your size was no joke, and you ached to sit down somewhere and rest. You couldn’t do that though while your two year old twins were causing mayhem.
It was unbefitting of a Queen, you knew that, but desperation had you hiking up your dress, climbing the the steps, and holding your arms out expectantly while Jace chuckled.
“Aemma. It’s time to say goodbye to Kepa and go back to our chambers. Now,” You told her, but that only resulted in the toddler shaking her head and burying herself even deeper into Jacaerys’ arms.
“No! I want to stay with Kepa!” Her defiant little voice shouted, and you winced as a few murmurs echoed through the court.
You were painfully aware that everybody was staring at the scene, which made it even more embarrassing when you reached out again and failed to grab Aemma.
After about the third attempt to pull her away with no avail, your husband seemed to finally take pity on you and sighed.
“It’s alright my love. She can stay,” Jacaerys said, and upon hearing this Aemma beamed. “It’ll be her seat one day after all. Let her gain some experience; even if it is during the middle of a petition.”
You gave him an apologetic look, and you made a mental note to apologize to Lord…well, whoever you were currently interrupting. You had to admit, the sight of Aemma babbling broken phrases to Jace while she tried to grab his crown was adorable.
You sighed reluctantly.
“Alright,” You said, willing to leave Aemma where she was. At the very least you could persuade Jaelin to follow you and take him away, but as you turned to go back down the stairs you suddenly paused.
Had there always been that many, you wondered?
You hadn’t really paid attention that much, but now that your feet were practically screaming at you to sit down, the idea of going down so many steps didn’t seem so appealing.
Of course, you could’ve just asked one of the Kingsguard to help you down, but you didn’t want to be a bother—as silly as it sounded. You also didn’t want to risk your knees giving out and falling, either.
You were in a dilemma, but before you could even decide, Jace did it for you. Your husband, ever attentive, noticed your hesitation and immediately got up.
“Here, my love. Why don’t you rest and I’ll stand for now,” He suggested.
Even more whispers broke out at this. What Jacaerys was proposing was sweet, but it had never happened before and the idea of the Queen sitting on the throne in the presence of the King was…well it was simply unheard of.
You were sure a few people would call the action scandalous, but at the moment though, you didn’t really care what they thought. Your feet were aching and you needed a place to sit down before your knees decided where for you, so you nodded and accepted his offer.
“Thank you, my love.”
You sighed in relief as you sat on the throne. Albeit, it wasn’t the most comfortable of seats with all the swords and points, and you would’ve much rather been in your cushioned chair in your chambers, but it was better than nothing and the pressure on your feet was gone.
Nodding his head, Jacaerys gave you a small kiss on the side of your head and then he stood with Aemma in his arms, and gestured for Lord whoever to keep speaking.
Had you not been out of breath, you would have laughed at his face and the face of many others as they not only witnessed their King give the most powerful seat in the realm to his pregnant wife, but also witnessed him stand up while bouncing his baby daughter in his arms.
It was an unusual sight, but an adorable one that you cherished.
Motioning to Ser Darklyn to bring Jaelin up so that your family would complete, you smiled in content and Jacaerys once again motioned for the man who had been interrupted to continue his petition.
“Lord Mooton. Please, do continue,” He said with a large smile.
You giggled.
Ah, so that was his name.
