So we know that at some point (at least in an animated series) Jason raised Damian before going back to Gotham and becoming Red Hood. So, what if Damian gets seriously injured while on patrol, and Jason, who has regained some memories of being the primary caregiver of baby Damian, is the one who witnessed Damian get injured, let's say by a gunshot close to or in a vital organ.
Damian is lying on the ground, struggling to breathe, he is scared, but his training doesn't allow him to show it. He is panicking, because despite all his training he is a child, he is only ten. He lets out a small whimper, he is in pain, it hurts to breathe, and moving is out of the question.
