Was meant to be a quick warmup study but ended up taking way longer than it should and im tired now so here it is

Watching the Master Blackmailer and I have to say. The scene where a woman asked Sherlock to kiss her which then cut to Watson and him at Bakerstreet is hilarious.
This will never not make me laugh "I don't know how". Sir you are like 40 years old. He looks so awkward.
Jeremy Brett (and David Burke) on the Granada set. To my knowledge, I'm one of the few folks that has a copy of this picture, so I thought I'd share. I apologize for the quality of my scanner. If I get the opportunity to rescan on a better machine, I will.

#5 Sherlock Holmes
Behold! One of my favourite moments from Granada's Sherlock Holmes series. Holmes' little dance to show Watson how the Dancing Men code works is always so precious to watch.
If I may also add to the hair one, I've always headcanoned Sherlock to have a prominent widow's peak hairline. This is partially inspired by Jeremy Brett's portrayal of him in later episodes, but I haven't stopped imagining Sherlock with it since. As for Watson, when reading the original stories when I was younger, I always imagined him having strawberry blonde hair that got increasingly white overtime.
My list of Sherlock headcannons:
- Sherlock is definitely the little spoon
- Sherlock sneezes those shy, high pitched sneezes and Watson is in absolute awe the first time he sees it (everyone is startled when they first hear it)
- Watson sneeze is abrupt and loud (just like mine lol)
- Watson cuts Sherlock's hair (this one came from @contact-guy ) so whenever they go long without seeing each other his hair goes out of shape
- Idk I think Sherlock is a big ear guy?? No explanations for this one just ✨vibes✨
A wonderful thing to hear. Jeremy always did look full of happiness. His smile was lovely and warm. Im glad he had a lot of fun on set. And its so lovely to see how close Edward Hardwicke and Jeremy were. You can see in the interviews with them that they were good friends.

Lucky buggers i so wish i could’ve gone but i found out too late. Its so wonderful to see that David made a speech. And its wonderful to know that people were there and shared stories and memories of Jeremy. Im sure he wouldn’t loved it.
Final post from today’s events – I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever see/hear David Burke, much less at a tribute to the dear Jeremy Brett. A wonderful day all around and a testament to just how special the Granada series was and continues to be.
Even 20 years later hes still held so deeply in peoples hearts. The roses! Its so cute im sure he would’ve smiled at that. Its sweet that they made a bench and planted a tree at one of his favorite spots. Its nice to have a place to visit that isn’t sad like a grave would be. Its a happy place. I love it.
Today has been lovely.
And I think Jeremy would be happy that he has bought so many people together and I’m so pleased so many people are so passionate about keeping his memory alive. Because one thing I noticed after talking to people is how they all talked about how lovely he was, and that’s why he still means so much to so many people 20 years on.
David Burke making an appearance too was just perfect.
I thought this was so sweet that they were there to pay their respects and share some memories with the fans.
