What if I just... *AGGRESSIVELY DUMPS OUT PILES OF LORE ABOUT TWST TEACHER OCS*

Ok so hi this is Ezra Goldspire. He is twisted from mother Gothel from Tangled >:D. He is the Art and Music teacher in my fic The Creation of a Villain, and he is pure(?) of heart, dumb of ass <333

He is inspired by changeling fae, having been raised by humans. He is still rather young in fae's terms of aging, and he only just began teaching. He's been instructing at NRC for about three years now, and he is pretty well known for being easy going and lenient with lectures.

Despite only being around 300-ish years old, he is very self conscious about aging and mortality due to his upbringing. He takes great care of his appearance, and often struggles with insecurities of how he wants to display himself. This is especially true since changeling fae are known for their shapeshifting abilities. Would people like his real face??? What does his real face even look like??? Who fuckin knows!

He also truly cares for his students and fellow staff a LOT. Almost to the point where he gets ridiculously attached. However he is more familiar with human lifespans and mannerisms than most fae, he can still be possessive enough to the point where he will position himself in a guardian role, "hiding" students away from dangers when in reality, he's just limiting them.

And uhh hello again, this is Joel Bullion. He is twisted from John Silver of treasure planet. Given the existence of robots n such in Ignihyde, I was like... wait, why can't cyborgs be a thing?

He teaches a multitude of different subjects, including astrology, culinary crucible, technomatic enchantments, and aids Coach Vargas with joint P.E. lessons on occasion when he's not too busy.

Opposite to Ezra, but not quite like Trein, he has a reputation for poking at and picking on students. He doesn't really get along too well with his other colleagues due to his antics, but his position in the school is highly valuable seeing as he teaches various subjects.

He's mostly in this teaching gig for the cash, not gonna lie. It feels more like a side hustle for him, honestly, as he's more focused on procuring his own wealth and adventure outside of NRC. Does this mean he doesn't care for his students...? Not necessarily, though there are really only a select few he enjoys speaking with, and most the time it's because they speak more like friends than teacher and student. For most of them though, their struggles are free entertainment. Suffering is fun. 💕

Joel Bullion - Makings of Greatness

Name: Joel Bullion

Twisted from: John Silver from Treasure Planet.

Unique Magic: "Rattle the Stars" Summons exactly that in the palm of Joel's robotic hand: a star. However, this is not just any star, this star's life flashes before your eyes, resulting in a controlled supernova. It creates a burning hot flash bang, with tremors forming cracks in the ground depending on the magnitude of the star itself. The explosion knocks enemies away from Joel. The size of the star dictates how much magic they will use, as well as how much blot he will accumulate. He is unsure what the maximum size of a star he can create is, but he does know that he has gotten dangerously close to overblotting while trying. In his current state, the blast is not deadly and primarily works to stun opponents or, at most, render them unconscious.

Grade: Teaches Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors

Class: Teaches Culinary Crucible, Astrology, and Tech. Occasionally aids with Physical Education.

Hobbies: Treasure hunting, finding constellations, hiking, traveling, spelunking, deadlifting, cooking.

Likes: Pernil, old school tech, adventure novels, hard cash, or anything he can sell for gold really, pranking Ezra and Crowley, telescopes, planetary science, zodiac signs.

Dislikes: Grading (this man should not be a teacher), any dish with fish in it, sticklers, staying still, overt formality, the cold, humorless individuals.

Fears: Immobility, optometric illnesses, not amounting to anything, not living his life to the fullest, birds.

Summary: "Why does he even teach?" is a question that crosses the mind of almost every NRC student in one of Joel's classes. He's shameless, sarcastic, and finds entertainment in messing with students and staff alike. Teaching is only a side job for him, his real passions lie elsewhere. Nonetheless, he is highly skilled in a variety of subjects, making him indispensable.

He abuses that privilege, of course, taking the time to have as much fun as he can in what he calls a boring dump of a school and make sure everyone around him suffers for it. Though this usually just amounts to light teasing and pranks. They do not behave like an educator or mentor. He does not typically enjoy interacting with most of his students in a serious manner, and the ones they do enjoy talking with are treated more like casual, distant friends.

With the responsibility of teaching so many subjects heavy on their shoulders, he does make plenty of time to shrug it off to work on his true dream: getting as rich as possible. Now, now, there are plenty of figures at NRC who want that, yeah? But Joel wants the lottery. He wants to struggle, look high and low, and come out above everyone with something ancient, shiny, and, hopefully, covered in expensive jewels. Over everything and everyone, they enjoy the hunt of it. To the point where he values it above people and relationships. Hell, they'd fly to the moon to get it if they had to.

Author's Notes: JOEL. Ahhh Joel. I'll admit, this was harder to write compared to the others! Everyone else's development, personality, struggles, etc. came very naturally to me, while, with joel, I really had to sit and brainstorm for awhile. Though, I can now say that he has grown on me a lot, and I plan on giving him more of a role in TCOAV like Ezra! I have lots of plans for him! Old ass man <33 (affectionate, /j) this will probably be the last new TCOAV oc for a while! But just know, there will be more >:)

Hi Eri! :D I chose Joel for this because I honestly need to make more stuff for them JFNDJDJ

Name: What does your twst OC's name mean? Why does Rook/Floyd call them [insert nickname]?

My OCs that exist solely in my TWST AU have much simpler names compared to the ones who existed before then, i think KJGBDSKJDSG. Joels name was simply what i thought was a cooler take on "John Silver." with Bullion simply meaning bulk metal, usually gold :P

Floyd's nickname for him is Buzzbait- which- well, is a type of fish hook/bait. Baiting individuals into frustration for his own amusement is something he's an expert at. Little fish in the pond stand no chance, get caught, thrown back out into the pond again, and the cycle repeats.

HMM i havent really thought of a nickname from Rook till now! i havent really seen him call the staff by those nicknames but if i had to think of one... it'd be Monsieur Comète, or Mr/Sir Comet. This is mostly in reference to his interest in astrology/astronomy and his UM!

Height: How tall is your twst OC? Are they conscious about their height? Are they close to someone with similar leg length?

Joel is 6'2 and he most certainly IS aware of it- He doesn't typically care about it, though he does use it to his advantage in subtle ways: usually when it comes to body language or intimidation tactics... to get people to leave him to his own devices- He's the same height as Sebek!

Personality: Give me 3 adjectives to describe your twst OC. Or an essay. Whichever works. Whose personality among the cast is closest to your twst OC and do they get along?

HMMMM- oh this is tricky-

CLEVER: As much as it pains others to admit- mostly Crowley and the other staff who Joel torments on the daily- he is very good at what he does. They(Joel) dont like teaching, they don't like their students, but he absolutely knows how to drill information into their heads. He hates grading papers, but he does it well. Despite most of his students disliking him, they pass the class with genuine interest and understanding of the material. His classes tend to think he's some kinda anomaly. He can hate his job but damn he will do it well.

INDIFFERENT: Bro doesn't give a single flying fuck about what people think of them. He knows who/what he is, he doesn't care enough to define it. "I think therefore I am" type shit. Call it confidence or arrogance, they don't care. He knows he gets under peoples skin, he knows hes a talented mf, and he knows people hate him for it (usually deservingly so)

LOCKED INTO THE DAMN GRIND: He's constantly keeping himself busy. Dont get him wrong, he doesnt necessarily ENJOY the work- but he works hard now so one day he wont have to work at all- with everything he could ever want right in the palm of his hand. Nevertheless, at the moment he is stuck babysitting a bunch of brats.

With this all in mind, I'd say he's most similar to Jamil(afterbook4), Jade, or Sam! Though for varying reasons- it was hard to compare him just to one character.
