IN CHARACTER CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT QUESTIONS .

Ghost. What a heavy question. Still, he can't remember a time where the answer didn't come easily. His mother, even as she prepared dinner not ten steps away. His father, even as he sat beside him and helped him with homework. A blank space each for the names of his classmates who offered their hands in friendship, less and less each year. For the teachers whose hands were tied as he brushed off their concerns and turned in excellent work. A kilometer long list of vacancies that, over time, collapsed and compressed into just one gaping abyss in his heart.

Because really, it was almost as though he were the one missing from the world. Something separate, something different, something no one else could see. An approximate sketch of the person he truly was.

Someone or something missing from his life? Even now, the question is incredibly easy to answer.

Latin Cross. The topic of religion is a complicated one, and it takes him a moment to piece together an appropriate response. ❝I was raised as traditionally as any of my classmates, but to tell the truth, I'm rather distanced from even the minimum now. When I was a child, there was a time when I went looking for as many stories about kami as I could. This may make me sound irreverent, but after a while, I simply... came to my own conclusions.❞

Having a shared goal of some sort is a surefire way to capture his attention. Whether it's a mutual love for something or a group project, this common ground is the best way to convince him to pay attention to you on a personal level.

I won't say it's a must that you have common interests with him... but if you don't, why are you even here? He, himself, is very much unconcerned with others' appearances, and places no value on such a thing...

Outside, of course, of his potential partner being well presented. He will withhold audible judgement of others' outward appearance, but you can be sure that it won't impress him one bit if you're a mess. Dress well, or at least appropriately, and you should be okay.

8♥️ - How well does your muse perform in social situations?

Shockingly well, especially given how little he cares for it. Noriaki works hard to keep up to date on things and be prepared! It's equal parts not wanting to stand out too much and not wanting to be completely left behind. But if you need someone to stand in for small talk (and you don't mind owing a favour later) this is your card.

you have a visitor, kakyoin. this time in the form of a familiar spectre. one who is terribly curious about whatever it may be that you've got in your hands. he doesn't touch, of course, but he is not-so-subtly trying to look over your shoulder.

The presence brings a slight smile to Kakyoin's face, despite his concentration. All of his attention is focused on the Game Boy in his hands, and although he makes a small effort to tilt his head to allow his visitor a clearer view, it's only a moment later that he's clicking his tongue in irritation, holding up the system for the stand to investigate.

❝Are you interested in things like this, Star Platinum? That would surprise me. I've been trying to catch up on some of the things I've missed in my free time. I enjoyed the first game quite a bit, but the second was released shortly after I visited Egypt with my family, so I still haven't played it. I thought I would try this newer one, since it's handheld, but... how should I say this... the controls for this game are terrible.❞
