It was Jungkook's idea to go to the beach so early in the morning. Honestly, any other time you would immediately turn down the offer of waking up so early instead of getting a good sleep, but you and your boyfriend were on vacation and you knew how important it was to him that you document your time there, especially because you might never be back here again.

Thailand was amazing, obviously, and you still refuse to believe that it actually exists on earth, but it was HOT. Especially in August.

Jungkook has been filming for the last two hours, starting with the golden sunrise, to the crabs, the sailboats gliding peacefully in the crystal clear water, the pigeons flying in the cloudless sky, and you.

You tried to help him out at the start, but there was nothing you could tell him that he didn't know, so after a while you left him and went to sit on the soft beach blanket you had brought with you, eating pieces of watermelon and pineapple Jungkook had sliced beforehand and admiring the view of the tropical paradise you were in.

It was too hot, despite it being early and you wearing nothing except a white net dress over a bright yellow bikini, so you eventually move to the water, and now you're sitting in the warm shallow water, the half top of your body in the humid air.

You stare fondly at your boyfriend, who's currently walking towards you with a small smile of his own, his shirtless chest making you smirk slightly as he joins you in the water, wrapping his strong arms around your waist loosely.

"Finally", you huff, pretending to be annoyed, but you can't hide the smile tugging at your lips at the sight of your lover's wide bunny grin, wrapping your own arms around his neck.

"Sorry, love", Jungkook says gently, always apologising even when he knows you're joking, and he tucks a strand of hair behind your ear before leaning down to press a shy kiss against your mouth, soft and warm.

"I'm really glad we did this", you say sincerely, leaning your head against Jungkook's shoulder and breathing in the smell of cologne and ocean that came from your boyfriend's skin.

"It's going to turn out beautiful", you say confidently, leaning back to cup Jungkook's face and press another brief kiss to his squished lips.

The look Jungkook gives you after you kiss is so loving it makes you blush, your eyes unable to hold his and falling instead to the small waves hitting your conjoined bodies.

"Of course it's going to turn out beautiful", Jungkook says, smooth fingers tilting your chin up so your eyes meet once again, his chocolate orbs melting your insides so easily even after all this time. "It has you in it".

You wince slightly at the cheesy comment, raising a teasing eyebrow at your boyfriend. "Thailand really changed you, huh?", you joke, giggling when Jungkook pouts cutely, bottom lip jutted out.

"Hey, I'm always romantic", he argues, a soft blush covering the top of his cheeks as you laugh, kissing his nose twice, just because you can.

Jungkook looks even more offended by your sweet gestures, and he grabs you by your waist, picking you up bridal style and making you shriek in surprise, tightening your hold around him.

"Okay, Okay, I'm sorry, don't throw me", you plead, hanging onto Jungkook for dear life as he laughs his ass off at your measly attempts to stay dry.

Jungkook hums in consideration, and you let out a sigh of relief when he finally shrugs. "Okay, I won't".

You're about to say thank you, ready for your boyfriend to put you down safely on the soft sand underneath you, when he jumps with you still in his arms into the water, letting out a laugh of victory when you let out a scream of protest, thrashing against Jungkook's sturdy figure as you both dive into the cool water.

You let out a laugh of disbelief when you both emerge from the water, sending a splash of water towards Jungkook's face, which was pretty useless considering he was completely soaked anyway.

Jungkook doesn't seem bothered at all by the weak slaps against hiscchest, still cackling loudly when he reaches out to catch your wrists, pulling you until you topple against him and leaning down to kiss you, slow and sweet, until your whole body is burning despite the cold water covering you.

You think you would spend forever with Jungkook in this exact moment.
