Overwatch Events: Halloween Terror 2021

Alright! The Halloween Terror Event is back! The event is going to be starting Tuesday, October 12th, and ending on Tuesday, November 2nd. In the first announcement video, we got shown a new Roadhog skin. It seems to be inspired by Pennywise which I think fits with his scary characterization. Also, I think that it's going to be an epic skin because it doesn't look like there is too much detail. Anyways, I'll be posting updates as they come out, so look out for all that!

Overwatch Events: Anniversary Remix - Volume 1

Alright, Volume 1 of the the Anniversary Remix events is live!

For this event, you will be able to get six remixed legendary skins and three rereleased character challenge skins for the weekly challenges.

My ranking for the epic skins are(best to worst):

Nano Cola D.Va (Week 1) - it's a D.Va skin, what else do I have to say.

Bastet Ana (Week 2) - I like the cat theme.

Combat Medic Baptiste - It's the last one there, but it is still pretty cool.

Like the past few events, I think that the way you get the skins is by winning matches. You need to play a minimum of 27 games to get all items for the week.

My ranking for the legendary skins are(best to worst):

Zealot Zenyatta - I really like the color palette, specifically the teal coloring.

White Cat D.Va - Again, like Nano Cola D.Va, it's a D.Va skin. I am excited to see what her gold guns look like though.

Mage Mercy - I think that it's a pretty recoloring, but not as good as the Zenyatta or D.Va skin.

Steelhardt Reinhardt - I think that it looks like a Houston Outlaw's skin which I think is cool.

Evermore Reaper - It's alright. I like the play on words related to Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven and I think I like the guns of this skin more than the original skin.

Demon Genji - It's fine. I don't know... I think that it looks good, but I just prefer the other skins.

Unfortunately, all of the skins cost 3000 Credits each...

I think that this whole event, since there is nothing other than skins, is a bit underwhelming, but it isn't super surprising since the development team is focusing on Overwatch 2. So, I am just looking forward to seeing what happens in the Beta later this month. Although, I think that it is nice to be able to win the epic skins that I missed since I wasn't playing the game at the time they came out.

Make sure to check the Overwatch website to see when your favorite event brawls will be happening. Today(April 5th) is Lucio Ball and tomorrow(April 6th) is Junkenstein's Revenge which I am looking forward to playing!
