Some photos I got today!

We had a village day in Jyskyjärvi today, it was so amazing there….!!!

Men and women in Karelian costumes, various fairs, exhibitions, I even bought myself a really nice red belt!!!

I learnt a lot about the Pomor Karelians, and I left so happy!!!! What a day today!!!

I'm really glad that events like this are being organised, it's times like this that you remember who you are and are proud of your people. Your small but beautiful folk.

Oh, and a very friendly nice lady from the "Viena" community showed me her beautiful Karelian "bird of happiness" brooch ! с:
