Comes the huffed response, muffled both by how he tries to keep himself quiet ( afraid of the others overhearing at coming their way ) and how he is out of breath ; having just darted around the corner, narrowly escaping notice. He shakes his head, determined to keep pushing onwards.

"Where to now?"

★ — Nerve-wracking ; a wash of anxiety through the boy as the animatronic lowers himself down to his level, frame tensing as he inspects him closely and wide gaze flickering off to the side ( towards nothing in particular ), unable to make himself look Freddy in the eyes. It isn't Freddy's proximity to the very things currently hunting Gregory down that make him shy away ( no, not at all — Gregory trusts Freddy with his life, something the animatronic has proven himself to be worthy of time and time again ), but rather the genuine care directed his way. He's afraid that if Freddy were to look too closely, he would see everything wrong with him, somehow know that he has no one waiting for him beyond the pizzaplex.

Attention follows Freddy's gesture, a moment to regain himself ( swallowing hard and pushing down all his worry. trying to be brave ) before he nods in response.

"M'okay — we should keep going, before the others catch up. Roxy definitely saw me before I ran off, so she'll probably be heading this way. Let's go."

watching as Gregory catches his breath, there appears to be a hint of concern hidden behind Freddy's metallic exterior ; head tilting to the side as he examines the boy. ( quite literally ) / he lowers himself to meet the boy's eyes, LED-lit ones gleaming with a soft, reassuring light. ❛ Take a moment to catch your breath, ❜ he suggests, ever gentle & understanding. ❛ Your oxygen levels seem to be unstable at the moment. And ... your heart rate is uncharacteristically high. ❜

but : the glamrock has to answer Gregory's question. it's in his program to always offer responses & that's precisely what he does next ⸻ ❛ Let's continue down this corridor, ❜ the animatronic suggests, pointing in the direction they were heading before their hasty retreat. ❛ We'll find a room with a Charging Station inside, as well as a few cameras that show the main stage. ❜
