Eisuke Ichinomiya: The stages of the beard.

It wouldn't make a difference in the stories or cause any changes. In fact, it would just be more work for the artists but how much cooler would that be?

I legit can totally see that for all of them. Especially Ota who kinks are already pretty well laid out in the app and Soryu who doesn’t seem to give too much of a fuck about anyone sexually or otherwise (though I might agree with those two’s perceived orientation the most just be because those two are my fav in game🤣). I can tell this was well thought out especially since I’ve never thought about any of their orientations before and this has great detail put into it.

I know the bidders are straight but I've been wondering. In an alternate universe where they don't have an mc to seduce and could be any orientation, what do you think they would be? Like if you could rewrite the bidders orientation, how would you see them?

Eisuke

The Eisuke we meet before he and MC become involved with each other is someone who doesn't like relationships

At least not genuine, long-term, committed relationships

So I could see him identifying as aromantic...though, not asexual

Eisuke doesn't like being tied down to anyone so he would prefer to limit his...personal interactions to hookups, so that he can be sexually satisfied without the hassle of breaking things off with people

And I can only see him identifying as straight/heterosexual

He would probably come out publicly, seeing as he would get asked in interviews when he was going to settle down, what type of woman he'd want to marry, etc.

He doesn't see that as anyone else's business but his own, but he would rather not have to keep dodging the same questions over and over

Soryu

I thought I immediately knew what to put for Soryu, but actually I don't as I can see him not knowing for sure himself

He doesn't show much, if any, attraction towards women, so he might question if he's gay

That is, if he happens to give any thought towards his sexuality; I don't think he would without any sort of prompting, such as a fellow mafia boss light-heartedly asking when he's going to marry and provide the Dragons an heir

But then again, he doesn't feel a distinct attraction towards men either

He feels more comfortable around them for sure, but sexual/emotional attraction? Maybe not

So Soryu might settle on the idea that he's asexual and aromantic

And he would keep it to himself because of the expectation to marry and have children for the sake of the Ice Dragons

He'd make his peace with having a loveless marriage in the future and fulfilling his 'husbandly duties' until they produced two children and that's it for him

Baba

Now onto Baba, and his is easy

I can 100% see him identifying as pansexual

Baba is very 'come as you are' with people; as long as they're a good person, that's all he cares about

Male, female, gender-fluid, non-binary...it doesn't matter how the person he loves identifies because what matters to him is their character, humor, intelligence, etc.

He might debate whether or not to come out to his fellow bidders versus keeping his dating life private, but he'd ultimately decide that he doesn't want to feel like he's hiding a part of himself

So he'd casually come out to the guys, who would accept him, and he'd also be very open with any questions they might have

If the others feel like asking questions to find out more about pansexuality or about what it means to Baba, then he'd be more than happy to help them understand

Ota

This one's going to be short because I cannot see Ota being anything other than straight lol

He isn't attracted to men, but is definitely attracted to women

And while he's supportive of people who identify as this, he'd probably wouldn't be open to dating a non-binary person

I think it's strictly women for him

Mamoru

If one were to speculate on Mamo's orientation, it wouldn't be a stretch to consider aromantic

However, this is not the case, in fact, he is just lazy lol

Mamoru doesn't actively pursue relationships as he deems that as too much of a hassle

Dating apps, planning activities, investing the time in getting to know a stranger...he's not really interested

So it's not that he doesn't experience romantic attraction, he just doesn't really express it

Mamoru is heterosexual, experiences both sexual and romantic attraction, but just prefers to be alone and do whatever he wants without worrying about another person lol
