¡ hhh gimme kirishima

Send ¡ for my muse to call yours suddenly, panicked and possibly in pain.

“ Aizawa sensei! “  Kirishima sighed in relief, only just realizing how worried he’d been that the older man wouldn’t answer.  “ I think Bakugou has a fever or something, and it’s making his quirk act up! “  He sounded out of breath as he hurried back up the stairs, letting Todoroki run ahead and trying to ignore the pounding in his head.  “ I tried to help, but then his quirk started up and he’s hot from the fever, so the explosion was kind of big for indoors... “  Kirishima had only heard one other explosion, but he knew at least the window had been broken.

“ He kinda accidentally blew me through the window. I was just standing in the wrong place! I only fell down to Todoroki’s balcony, so I don’t probably not that hurt. But I think we’ll need help with Bakugou. But Todoroki is going to help me, so we can try again. “  And with the explosion there was bound to be most of his other classmates around now.

It hadn’t really been on purpose, finding their missing teacher. But the four of them couldn’t just completely keep themselves from looking. Shoto hadn’t honestly expected they could with their searching kept under wraps on the weekends and evenings. It was simply a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Or maybe the wrong place considering how much trouble like this they got into. But they wouldn’t turn down a chance like this, and they’d alerted Endeavor as well as All Might. They would just back off when the pros arrived, and get their professor out of harms way in the meantime if they could.

They’d had to split up to ensure they could cover enough square feet to maximize the advantage a surprise attack gave them. Bakugou had gone off on his own while Izuku and Kirishima were also searching elsewhere. Shoto had also chosen to go alone. He can tell he’s got the right direction as the number of guards he has to get through rises, but with one stomp of his foot the hallway is covered in ice, effectively immobilizing the three men present for the time being. He hurries down the hall, to the only door that’s ajar, sighing in relief as he sees the familiar form of Aizawa. It’s only dampened slightly at the obvious list in his posture and the stalled quality to his words.

“ It’s me, Sensei. Todoroki. “  He steps closer, shooting a quick text to Izuku.  “ I’m going to take off the blindfold. “ Shoto announces before gently reaching up to slide the blindfold off of his teacher’s head.  “ Pro heroes are on their way. But we should try to get you out of here now. I’ll untie you. “

They stopped letting him be awake once he overheard and started asking questions.  Or threatening, he doesn’t quite remember which one.  Something about someone likely wanting him out of the way or wanting information.  The latter is less likely given the logistics.  It’s alarming to know that there’s at least three more people in the world who know about the way his quirk works.  It wasn’t a clean takedown, but it was efficient enough that he hadn’t had entirely enough time to register what was going on.  There was frustration at some point that he didn’t know the topic of only that it often meant something else bruised or buzzing fingers that left burns where ever they touched.   There’s a sound he recognizes, but can’t place.  A sort of cracking noise that he thinks he’d be able to name if he could actually think.  The door lets in an abnormal chill that doesn’t seem right.  If he strains he can pick up what sounds like complaining coming from outside.  There’s definite footsteps that sounds like a person coming towards him.  Thick fabric still obscures his vision and his mouth is slow to open in an attempt to snap something vaguely defensive.  “Said fuck off.”

Kirishima slowed slightly as he listened to the muffled commotion on the other end of the line, it almost sounded like his teacher was in the middle of a fight. But he couldn’t be too busy if he’d answered the phone, right? He was kicked back into gear as he heard Todoroki opening the door to Bakugou’s floor and hurried up after him, bursting into the hall. As he’d assumed, there was a group of their classmates outside of his friends door. On his way in, Kirishima grabbed onto Kaminari to ask him to get a bucket of water and Iida ran off to get some advil as well.

“It looks like mostly scorch marks,” He told Aizawa as he reentered Bakugou’s room. Todoroki was already sat on the bed near him, trying to use his quirk to being cooling Bakugou down. “Just the broken window from before.” Well there was also a little bit of fire on the windowsill, but Kirishima was able to stifle that quickly enough with a hardened hand, nothing to involve the fire department over. “Shouldn’t we try to get him to Recovery Girl? Or should we just wait for you?”

Well, that’s certainly not what he expected to be the call about.  At least it’s on speaker and in a pocket so he’s still hands free to yank on one end of the scarf to trip one of three opponents.  The other two are flung into each other and hastily wrapped up with the remaining party.  “Okay.  Get him advil, get a bucket to put his hands in and fill it with water.  Is there actual damage?  Like…are we missing part of the building or is shit-stuff just scorched?  Do I need to send you guys the fire department to make sure nothing happens while I get there?”   His foot connects to one of the villain’s mouths, effectively silencing them to allow him to listen to the response.  He now has phone out, trying to multitask and get someone to come pick up the guys so he could book it to the dorm.  The report could be done later.   @quirkdriven from here

That would explain a lot of things.  The cold, the noise.  The new question if there were frozen bodies outside the door.  At least to his knowledge Shoto hadn’t killed anyone yet, he’d heard about him being ‘merciful’ at usj, but it was still slightly alarming to think about.  Frostbite and hypothermia could set in quickly even if they were just stuck up to their ankles.  “You-” he is trying to put on a teacher voice, but the sudden light cuts him off.  It almost immediately gives him a headache and has him squeezing watering eyes shut.  “Wait-we?”  He does his best to open eyes and glare, but the fine muscle control isn’t quite there and he barely succeeds in squinting.   “You’re not alone.”  Shouta makes a mental note to yell at them later, trying to make sure he’d remember later.  Arms prick with pins and needles once circulation returns and he awkwardly flaps hands around trying to get feeling back into them.  “Of course.  Why would you be smart for once?”  A part of him acknowledges he should be grateful and he doesn’t have the capacity to actually get angry, but it’s a repetitive habit he doesn’t want students repeating any more.  “Who else is here?  Who’d you call?”   To his credit, he doesn’t immediately buckle upon standing.  Just sort of lurches and ends up holding onto the chair.  It’s dizzying the way his heart is racing after not having to fight gravity as hard, muscles barely functional from disuse and drugs.  His wrists are still raw from multiple attempts at breaking out, shoulders sore from being forced back.  Something’s probably dislocated in his chest, likely a rib.  “Fuck.”

Aizawa seems about as displeased as he’d expected, as they’d all expected really, but it hadn’t been enough to stop them from getting involved. Still, Shoto was sure they were quickly reaching the limit on the amount of times they could get off with warnings for things like this. And that’s if this didn’t end up being the final straw, but he couldn’t bring himself to regret it if it meant they could get Aizawa out of there. “I’m not.. I’m with Midoriya, Bakugou and Kirishima. We split up to cover more ground.”

He watched carefully as his teacher worked at getting feelings back in his harms, Shoto’s own body still facing the doorway in case they were interrupted. “We didn’t exactly do this on purpose. We just got lucky. Saw one of the men who took you while we were in the area.” He steps forward automatically as Aizawa falters a bit, holding out an arm for him to take if he needs it. Shoto of all people knows that not everyone wants to be made to accept more assistance than they need, but he’d be happy to help Aizawa walk if necessary. “I called my father.” Not something he’d really wanted to do, but he’d known the man would answer and he could respect his father’s work as a hero. Now wasn’t the time to let personal problems get in the way. “I’m pretty sure Midoriya let All Might know as well.”

He led the way towards the hall, he knew he’d need to thaw the men there soon to avoid any undue damage, but he needed to get Aizawa out first. Maybe he could hand Aizawa off to Izuku and come back. Or maybe his father would arrive and be able to deal with them. “How badly are you hurt, Sensei?” While his expression didn’t change much, there was visible concern in his eyes. They still had to get back out of the warehouse, but Shoto would protect his teacher with all he had. As he knew the man would do for him.
