"I don't want to fight anymore," Aaron feels broken and close to the edge.

“You don’t have to fight alone,” Kevin talks him down from that edge. He squeezes Aaron tightly for emphasis.

“I hate you and I hate this team,” Aaron grumbles, crossing his arms over his chest and sliding down the seat even more to mope. He’s had it with the Foxes interrupting him, one more time and he might not have it in him to stop when someone walks in again.
