how you'd spend mornings together:

since Yonghee seems to be a very diligent person, I feel like most of the time he would wake up before you

after getting the sleep out of his eyes and stretching a little, he'd look at you to check if you're already awake or not

most of the time you're out cold, and even though I don't think Yonghee is the type of person to watch someone while they sleep (lovingly of course, not in a creepy way), he'd definitely break out in a little smile upon seeing your calm figure with a mild case of bed hair and sometimes even a little drool on your chin (you still look angelic in his eyes)

at times when he's the first one to be up, he'd either 1) make you breakfast in bed or 2) work out a little/do something work-related because in my eyes he's the type of person who wants to make the most out of their time (but he'd still make you a cup of coffee/tea, whichever you prefer)

but, on the rare occasions you do wake up before him, you'd just check your social media and wait for Yonghee to wake up too

when you'd notice him starting to stir awake, you would immediately put down your phone on the nightstand and turn to him, waiting for him to notice you so you could attack him with morning cuddles without startling him

"goodmorning, my lov-"

that's all he'd manage to get out before breaking out in a fit of giggles thanks to you attaching yourself to him like a koala and snuggling against his bare chest

if he was asked to explain the reason behind his laughter, he'd say it's simply because of your hair tickling his neck, but in reality he just found you so adorable being all clingy that he couldn't help but let out a laugh full of pure joy

"I dreamed about you" he'd state as soothingly caressing your hair

"I'm starting to think you're just making up these dreams about me. I mean, how does one dream about the same person almost every night?!" you'd answer without looking up at him, feeling too cosy nestled upon his warm chest to even think about moving

once again, he'd giggle softly before tapping your shoulder

finally, you'd give in and raise your head a little to meet his eyes, slightly scrunching your brows in question

he'd put one of his hands on your cheek before almost whispering in a honey-like tone "what can I do if I miss you even when I'm asleep"

then, without waiting for your answer, he'd lean in and plant a featherlight kiss on your lips

whenever he'd kiss you in the morning, you'd want to complain about his morning breath but when he does cheesy stuff like this you can't help but forget about everything but him, sitting right in front you, looking as ethereal as ever

for a moment you'd just stare at him with a peachy blush decorating your slightly puffy cheeks, thinking something along the lines of "what did I do in my past life to deserve being together with such an incredibly beautiful person??!"

"why are you looking at me like that?" he'd eventually break the silence

"cause you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen" you'd answer with the uttermost sincerity laced through your voice

at this, Yonghee wouldn't be able to keep his cool and would start blushing like crazy

whenever he gets shy around you, he tends to hide his face in an attempt to seem calm and collected, so he'd just take his pillow from next to him and put it in front of his flushed face

you already knew that Yonghee was being shy, but what really confirmed it was his childlike giggles (yes, he giggles a lot but it's your favourite sound in the whole entire universe so sometimes you'd say cheesy stuff on purpose just to hear it)

once again, you'd attack him with cuddles and then stay in bed for another 5 minutes or so, just snuggling into each other's comforting embrace and talking about the day ahead

after finally crawling out of bed and getting dressed, you'd both head to the kitchen to make some breakfast

usually you guys make something that doesn't require a lot of cooking, like sandwiches or an omelette, but whenever there's more free time before heading to work you'd make pancakes

you'd make the batter while Yonghee would whip up a cup of coffee/tea for each of you

Yonghee would then cook the pancakes while you sit back and enjoy your drink (well,, in reality you're mostly admiring him, thinking about how nice it would be if you could always start the day with your lovely boyfriend, but the bittersweet reality was that most of the time he was gone for work before you were awake)

sometimes you'd put on music in the background if either of you didn't feel like talking much but didn't want to sit in silence either (though both of you don't mind the silence cause it's nothing but comfortable)

whenever you'd put on his own group's music he'd start to whine and beg for you to play anything else (he's the type to not want to listen to his own songs because he thinks his parts aren't good enough no matter how flawlessly he sang them) but you'd just sit at the countertop all smugly with your arms crossed over your chest, sipping your beverage and enjoying the calming melody of "Maybe I", not about to give into your boyfriend's childish antics

but you'd make up for it sooner or later by surprising him with a tight backhug (Yonghee loves loves loves backhugs so please spoil him with them)

the rest of your morning would be spent by enjoying the fluffy pancakes and talking about anything and everything that came to your minds (and brushing your teeth, putting on some makeup if that's something you do, just casual everyday things)

usually Yonghee leaves for work before you do

as he'd be closing the buttons of his trench coat, about to pick up his messenger bag and head through the front door, you'd run up to him all cutely like a baby penguin and kiss his cheek before saying "have a great day, Yong-ah"

he'd look down at you with the most loving smile on his face before leaving a gentle peck on your forehead and sweetly murmuring "you too, my love"
