Headcanon: having a loving sibling

You were the only real family he had left, being his older sibling from the very beginning. You two had the same condition when you were human and got turned into demons in the same night

Rui forgot what a family bond felt like, except the love between siblings, thanks to you

His tactic on regaining that memory was the same, but he only got you two a mother and a father

Rui is scared of forgetting what a siblings bond feels like, that's why he is rather clingy

You two hold hands whenever you can

Not that you mind, it was actually your idea

He loves when you gently press the side of his face to your chest with your hand and put your chin onto the top his head. He feels oddly warm when you do that

You are the only one who can make him smile

He sometimes asks himself how you are so loving to him, even tho he seems like not loving you at all

"It's because you are my little brother. I have to show you how much I love you and protect you from all evil."

When you share a human to eat, you let him have the most and his favorite body parts. Every time he asks 'why' you tell him it's so he can grow tall and strong like you are. And even taller and stronger

He sometimes feels like crying when you hug him or give him a kiss on his forehead. He feel so loved by so little gestures

Rui probably gives up on your 'parents' and just lives with you. Because he realizes he only needs you to feel a family bond, to be happy and feel loved

You two live on Natagumo Mountain and try to live a quiet life which is a tad bit difficult, seeing you two are 'lower 5' and 'lower 6' and have to kill humans to not get killed by Muzan

But you manage togehter

Rui trusts you with his life, so when you tell him to do something, he'll do it without thinking twice

In your little house, you teach Rui everything you know about life, no matter for humans or for demons

Sometimes when you clean or cook, Rui helps you, like the nice little brother he is
