Not meant to be friends

You ran down the hallways with your books in your hand close to your chest. You ran like you life was on the line, dodging every obstacle that can your way-pissing som people off in the progress. But you didn't care. You were late to class fo the 56th time, and your teacher specifically told you if your late again its was gonna fuck up your record. You made on last turn, only to bump into Dohwa Baek, the school's hottest guy. You grunted as you fell to the ground, your books falling with you.

"What are you? A brick wall?" You mumbled while scratching the front of your head. Though, dohwa looked unfazed. He didn't even try to help you up, just walking past you like you were just a piece of trash. You cursed him under you breathe. You would chase after him and confront him, but you had your own issues to deal with. You quickly get up and pack your books together, as you did so you felt a hand ontop of one of your books. You looked up to see Park Sunhoo. You blushed when you saw him. Sunhoo was your crush since you could remember. His strawberry blonde hair flipped to the side as he titled his head, smiling at you with those emerald eyes you could just drown yourself in.

"Is everything ok, y/n?" He asked with am arched brow. You immediately snapped out of your daydreams and delusions. You shook your head unable to mutter a word due to you being too flustered to. Both of you get up and you look down at the floor, blushing as you held your books. He handed you your books with a chuckle while rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. "Oh shoot! Look at the time." He said looking st his watch. You dug into your pocked to bring out your phone to check the time. '8:03'. Your eyes almost popped out of their sockets as you saw the time. You were three minutes late. You sprinted to class without thanking sunhoo for helping you with your books.

"Sorry Mr. Lee!" You yelled as you opened the door to the classroom. Everyone was staring at you, which caused you to become anxious. 'Ms.L/n!" Your teacher yelled at you. "Your late again." He said with a sigh as he rubbed his temples. "Just take a seat and see me after class." You nodded and took your seat. The only seat left was one next to a sleeping blonde. You sat down next to him and placed your books at the edge of your table. You accidentally brushed your hand on the sleeve of the sleeping blonde, waking him up. "Oh shoot!" You cursed under your breathe. The droosy blonde yawned awake and you looked in utter shock at who it was. Dohwa baek. "We meet again." You whispered only for dohwa to hear. "Hm? Do I know you?" He whispered back. You clenched your hands so tight it turned white. He didn't even remember bumping into you. "Oh. Your the girl I bumped into today, huh?" He finally spoke. You nodded your head so. "I'll deal with you later." You said in a threatening tone scar him off, and he chuckled at your half-threat. "Is something funny dohwa?" The teacher asked turning around, backing the white board. "Nothing sir!" He responded quickly. "Well if it's nothing then you don't mind teaching the whole class what I was just teaching. Since, like you said, it's nothing." Dohwa looked in horror as you snickered beside him. He gave you an angry glare, which you stuck your tongue at him in response, before he reluctantly got up to teach the class what he didn't know what he was. "Uhh... you were teaching us about." He turns to the board to get the topic of the class. "About.. Well obviously geometry!" He said and you laughed at his comment. Everyone turns to you and you felt anxious again. "Well, why don't you come help dohwa out y/n? Since its so funny." The teacher said as you shrugged and got up. "With pleasure." You said smirking at dohwa, who smirked back at you. To his surprise you taught the class well. Maybe even better than the teacher.

School had ended and you went to the teachers office to talk to your homeroom/geometry teacher. "Ah, y/n." He said, turning his chair from his laptop to face you. "Good afternoon sir." You greeted him, a big wad of sa,iva forming in your throat before you swallowed it down.

"About you being late.."

"Yes, sir! I know what your thinking. Again? But sir! In my offence its not my fault. I bumped into dohwa-"

"Oh, I'm not here for that." He said, which caused you to raise your brow. What could he possibly need you for the then?

"As you know, you the smarter in the whole class of class 10. And there's a particular student who I'm worried for..." He continued and you looked at him wit even more confusion. "If you help them out i can assure you that your late attendance will be no more." He said, turning the chair to pick some papers, then handing them to you. You arched your brow at him giving you the paper before proceeding to read it through. Your jaw almost dropped from what you read. You were tutoring... dohwa? You were about to reject until you thought back to what he said. 'Your late attendance will be no more.' You repeated this thought a few more times. Again. Again, and again. Dohwa was just one huma being. No matter how annoying he can get, this was your life. You future on the line. Without you horrible punctuality to class, you basically have a perfect record.

"I'll do it." You finally decided after much thought. "Very well then." Your teacher responded with a slight smile. "You can start tomorrow if you'd like" You walked out of there with a smile on your face. Nothing could stop you! You felt on cloud 9! Could you fly? No, but you could try. You walked towards the front entrance of the school only to be welcomed by rain. You looked in horror. It was raining? Why today of all days? God why?! You sighed. Yo didn't have an umbrella, and it didn't seem like any around was willing to share. Intact, there was barely anyone around. You sighed even deeper. You had to get soaking wet, and your mom was not going to have it. You were about to step into the rain until someone came out. To your disappointment it was none other than dohwa. You clicked your tongue as you saw him with an umbrella. He spotted you and smiled. Not a 'of course I'll lend you my umbrella' smile. But rather a 'hahaha ha you have no umbrella you freak!' You grunted as you knew the tragedy that was now reality. Dohwa went outside the building with his umbrella in hand, his tongue stuck out at you. You grumbled at this. As you were about to step outside you felt something hover over your head.

"Need an umbrella?" Sunhoo said from beside you, holding an umbreall out for you. "My hero." You mumbled at him as he chuckled lightly at this. Dohwa watched out the window. His face was emotionless as you didn't even notice his glares. He turned around to walk home, and that was when you faced him and saw him walk away.

.... I don't know how I should feel about this.. I feel like its not good enough. I'm not proof reading btw, becuz I'm too lazy too so there will be mistakes here and there. I'll make a part two ofc. But for now you get this 💋
