Korn X Tonkla - Tumblr Posts

I was like I wonder why people won't edit KornTonkla with a happy theme. Then, just realised how little HAPPY moment they have 😭 Btw, LOVE that KornTonkla edit with 90s song. OMG. 🀝🏻😻

Thank you!!! I'm glad you liked it!!!! They deserve a power ballad!

I'd love to do a longer romantic or happy video but there's so little footage! 😭😭😭 It's amazing how little time they had on screen together in the first place, but they made such an impact.

The first korntonkla scene was amazing and will forever be iconic, of course, but the flashback scene of their first time truly reeled me in. The sheer tenderness from Korn's side and way Tonkla was nervous yet excited was amazing to watch. They were just learning about each other's bodies and the way Korn was rubbing his whole body on top of Tonkla at first was so erotic. Putting this in contrast with the first scene where they know all about the other's needs and exactly how to bring pleasure without talking about it, i was just amazed at the level of acting required to portray two such different scenes with the same level of love and hunger. The directing of both the scenes was superb and both of the actors honestly killed it.

oh god that contrast is such a good point!! I love both scenes for what they do but yeah that first time scene is so powerful and sexy and felt really unique to these two particular characters.

Now that you said it I'm going to be thinking about this so much. The newness and awkwardness vs when they're comfortable and familiar with each other. But there's a similar underlying dynamic that they enjoy.

I'm so sad they never got to just be together without reservations or limits or fears!!!

anon is so right abt korntonkla's first time. korn laid down his entire body on tonkla like he wanted to envelop him and i found it so hot. and i know many people had issues with the number of nc scenes for the side couples but, imo, all of those scenes shows important characterization since they are so well acted and were not unnecessary. also basfuaiz's onscreen chem is so good and even though i hate the idea of fixed cp, i need atleast one more series from them.

I really hate the aspect of fandom that gets into a competition over screen time at all. I love good stories. I especially love sexy and romantic queer stories, so I'm here! Counting scenes or screen time or pitting ships against each other just limits the ability to actually enjoy the story and the way it's being presented. And it's an insult to all the talented, creative people who worked on it. It just creates a bad experience and toxic fandom environment.

I love using sex to explore character and relationships and 4 Minutes did such a good job of that with all the NC scenes! I prefer KornTonkla's but all of them were so evocative and thoughtfully done.

okay temporarily putting serious issues and trauma aside, imagine Korn and Tonkla running away and Tonkla has to teach Korn how to do absolutely everything from dusting to laundry to making a snack lol

Tragedies are like... The love was there. It didn't change anything. It didn't save anyone. There were just too many forces against it. But it still matters that the love was there. [in/sp.]

KORN and TONKLA in 4MINUTES (2024)

seeing your posts, i think we were robbed of korn & tonkla's domesticity and intimacy (in a wholesome way haha) the first ep scene of them before the sex OH MY GOD FOR REAAL the smooches the kisses the hug the neck kisses the sniff kiss and all types of kiss dang it a part of me wants to see them being sweet lovey doveyπŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

ANON I would love to see more of them being happy and domestic together. And that's usualy not my vibe, but it works when they suffer so much for those moments of happiness 😭😭😭

But with such a short show I understand why they showed what they did. Every scene had purpose, and we know exactly what we need to know about them for the story.

how many years did tonkla endured being a ”side bitch” 😭 they were together for so long and in that period he never got the chance to tell anyone he's with tonkla, only thereβ€” in their last moment, i guess.

I have so many feelings about their relationship. I don't think Korn ever for a moment thought of Tonkla as a side piece or affair. Tonkla was the one he loved and dealt with the other shit in his life for. But Tonkla still had to live on the margins of Korn's life, waiting for Korn to be available for him. It's all just so terrible and tragic.

I feel for Tonkla and for Korn. I'm sad that Korn didn't find the courage to go against his dad until it was far too late. I'm sad that Tonkla didn't feel like he could assert his own needs more with Korn.

But they also really loved each other so much! For years! 😭😭😭😭

I actually want to rant a bit about something I keep thinking about.

Classism and homophobia probably both play into Korn's inability to be open about his relationship with Tonkla. If Korn had fallen in love with, say, Tay from KinnPorsche, would he have found it easier to eventually come out to his dad? Insist on him respecting the relationship? Tay has money and connections. So maybe?

But we can't discount homophobia and that's what I want to talk about. Korn is deeply closeted and that's an important aspect of his character. The damage that being forced/pressured to be in the closet does is an important part of the story.

We get to see how homophobia and pressure to be in the closet hurts not just Korn, but the people affected by him. Tonkla, obviously. Win, to some extent, because his relationship with Korn is one factor in Tonkla's decision to use him. Even Fasai, though I have little sympathy for her, I can see how she's been hurt by this situation as well.

Being in the closet is hard. It's damaging. It's stressful & traumatic. And we see that through Korn. And how tragic it is that he was telling himself that every step deeper into that closet was actually bringing him closer to being free of it.

So I do bristle at his relationship with Tonkla being viewed as if Tonkla is an affair, or the thing with Fasai is simple cheating, or saying Korn is treating Tonkla as a sugar baby or side piece because this kind of relationship has been the reality for countless queer relationships and still is for many. And it doesn't absolve anyone completely but it is a different kind of context.

Not sure if u talked abt this but i also want to get ur opinion on korn and tonkla's first sex scene because ive seen some posts how it wasnt a sweet moment bc tonkla is vulnerable at that time n korn is taking advantage of him. Hm.. I have some thoughts abt it.. But i wanna hear yalls thoughts

I don't think i've posted about this. I talked to a few people in dms about it though because i saw those posts too. i don't agree with them.

In terms of character development and what it shows us about the characters and their relationship, I think it shows how Korn has slowly closed off because of the pressures of his work, his father, and the whole situation.

In the flashback scene Korn is very emapthetic & emotionally supportive! He's there for Tonkla at an incredibly difficult time and has good advice. Tonkla maybe hasn't had anyone ever taking care of him that way.

So we get to see a different aspect of their relationship and understand why Tonkla loves Korn. And I think the show as a whole and the ending supports that.

I did feel like sometimes the way people talked about it removed Tonkla's agency completely. Because he was a victim of abuse and in present time he does have less social power, less economic power than Korn and Korn has set certain limits on the relationship that Tonkla doesn't like, people tended to only see him as a powerless victim. And they put Korn in the villain box and interpreted everything he did in the worst light.

As for like the mild dom/sub nature of the scene, I understand why it might make some people uncomfortable. BUT i really dislike the whole idea that only totally vanilla sex is healthy and cosnensual while other dynamics are inherently abusive or unhealthy. In real life of course you should have more communication and negotiation but this isn't real life.

It's a creative portrayal meant to communicate things about the character and their relationship. And it does speak to Korn feeling more comfortable when he's in control. And Tonkla was taken care of, told he was taken care of, that he wouldn't be hurt. And that says a lot about the beginning of their relationship and what they both got out of it.

And feeling safer as the one in control is NOT the same as feeling good about having power OVER someone or wanting to control them in an unhealthy way.

This was a bit of a ramble, I have a lot of thoughts lol. And it can be nuanced and hard to say exactly what I mean. Curious to hear from others!

OH my god. I FORGOT to add something I thought of recently!

My theory now is that Korn's mom has already died at this point. That's why he has some insight into what might help Tonkla with his grief.

OH My God. I FORGOT To Add Something I Thought Of Recently!

I wonder what he kept of his mom's or if he was allowed to keep anything. 😭😭😭
