We got to our hotel and got pretty wet in the process, but they were strictly enforcing the check-in time. It was some government run ryokan. So, the kids watched videos on the netbook in the lobby and I walked around a little in the rain and found this trail that started behind the hotel and led to some nice overlooks. by cmrowell
