I just made Moe (my lark character) in a meme - one that I tried to find the best on Pinterest that'll (probably) match their personality - and idk if it's good (or at least Okay) for making them for the first(?) time on digital drawing. @yaelokre

I can't believe I forgot to put the underlay(??) of the meme back to 100%, wtf. ANYWAYS, here's the actual finished picture of it.

I tried drawing Moe on traditional art (how I usually do it), though it was kinda hard to draw their mask. (AND I added stuff to them - the words on the 2nd drawing - gapped teeth and Hazel eyes, and as it showed, Freckles. QUITE a lot of 'em.) @yaelokre

I just finished a meme with my larksona and my sibling's larksona (I made them do it👍🏻). It took about 5 and a half hours - not exactly(?) Including all the breaks I had to do (going to bed last night when it was only of 4 hours done, and etc)

(I also did them without the mask - not my sibling's larksona bc I was too lazy, and my hands hurt from drawing it. I only did their hazel eyes from memory, sorry-)

I HAVE DRAWN MOE WITH THEIR FIDDLE/VIOLIN (I made them play it bc I played it in the past. Haha.) Lost of trial and errors, but I finished. (Was for a pfp)

I just checked, and it literally took 4 hours and 28 minutes. Wtf.

I have made ANOTHER lark (this one is the TDC/Yaelokre lark)

Their name is Gemma, they go by They/It. And, I think it is about 17 - I am not sure yet. Also, I'm not so sure about their name yet. Will update this post once I find a good name.

And I'm not sure what they do in their free time and/or if it plays an instrument or not.

(I know the mask is like a moth, but It's like the closest to a Gelfling. Kinda.)

I tried drawing Moe (my larksona) in the scene(?) style, but It didn't look okay, so I just gave up. I even tried a new art style(s??) Of the other, more "realistic" style for Moe. (My younger sibling gave it a 💫7 put of 10💫 BINGO).

Extra: There are two scribbling type drawings of me getting hit by the Justin 'Beaver' bus. It's funny.

(My wrists hurt from drawing the 2nd drawing of Moe. DEAR GOD. Plus, I will probably draw NPMD characters or another Starkid musical character next time. I can't be sure, but I probably will.)

I recently found Yaelokre, and I absolutely adore everything about them, the art, the music, the story, it's all so good. So here is my OC, Basil!

Thistle Lore!

So basically here is the backstory of my Yaelorke oc, Thistle!! {also Idk this lore is somewhat loose/might not be fully accurate to the world of Meadowlark} Thistle who’s original name was Jamie, was around 12 years old when their parents left them at a religious boarding school to “correct their behavior” because Thistle didn’t believe in the same things they did. Thistle couldn’t take it anymore and at around age 14 managed to escape the boarding school and flee for the woods. They didn’t want to be connected to their past and the name “Jamie” was one of those connections, so they changed their name to Thistle! They traveled around different towns and villages, trading things to go from their school uniform, to the outfit they have now and to get the stuff they have now. They made their mask by finding sticks and the occasional discarded porcupine quill for that part of their mask. For the main face part they carved out wood to make the shape! They now roam around the woods freely, carving wood to trade with people, and wandering about singing and playing the tambourine (although they dont know much about music)
