i remember being a teenager and feeling so righteous and justified in my hurt I remember making my hurt my whole personality and joking about my pain and how miserable I was and how badly I wanted life to end and it only ever drove people away of course because that level of misery drags people down yknow? and who actually WANTS to be miserable? no one does that’s who and I’ve learned and grown from that as I’ve become an adult - learned that leaning into my pain and making it my personality isn’t healthy leadned to embrace being okay even if sometimes things still hurt and they do and that’s okay but good GODS trying to get that point across to someone else is hard and now IM the adult in the position of like of losing patience and not wanting to be around these people that are just always complaining yes life is tragic sometimes but life is also beautiful if you just LOOK instead of wallowing in misery! fuckin hell kid! some folks are SO entrenched in their misery they can’t even let OTHER people be happy! and I know I’m complaining right now but it’s more just exasperation because kid you could be okay if you’d just LET yourself be okay but you have to come to that conclusion on your own don’t you? just like I did barking.
