You groaned as the curtains over your bed were pulled open, instinctively pulling your comforter over your head and turning on your side.

"Mornin' baby..."

"Fuck off"

Its only responded to with a small snicker and a new weight on the side of your bed, "C'mon..."

He was using his nice voice, like he was lureing a kitty away from a sewer drain. His hands found your waist from over the comforter, and his hands turned you onto your back slowly.

"Leo...."

He laughs, and slowly reaches to pull the blanket away from your face. When you can finally see him again, he has his dumb happy face on and beaming eyes.

You were tired. Exhausted, even. Last night there was a monster attack that took forever to clean up after. But gods, you couldn't ignore the upwards tug of your lips when you saw him beaming at you.

"How do you have so much damn energy?"

He rolls his eyes, leaning over you he lowered himself to press a kiss to your forehead.

"Asshole..."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

He laughs and kisses you again.

"Mmmm.. i love you, Leo."

"I love you too... But you still have to get up."

"I don't love you that much-"

You're cut off with another kiss, and as much as you'd hate to admit it, there's worse ways to wake up.
