can we, as a society, start to realize that having a phone does NOT mean you HAVE TO BE accsessible to anyone and everyone at ALL times??

My mom threw a fit at me for not answering my phone while i was at my friends place. Kinda hypocritical too, given how much she complains that “youth these days spend to much time on their phones”

My boss was very CLEARLY not satisfied that i only got back to his text hours after he sent it. My friend didnt speak to me for weeks once bc she thought we were having a FIGHT??? bc i didnt reply to her message on facebook? till the day after she sent it??

i HAVE a phone, that doesnt mean i HAVE TO BE availiable whenever ANYONE decides they want me to be???

what the fuck

can people stop assuming they are entiteled to my attention 24/7??

yooooo nothing pisses me off more than when i get a message from a guy when im scrolling her social media and he gies goes umm i thought we already said goodnight why are you still on social media or i get that the next morning like a umm you posted this after we said goodnight like bruh you think my life revolves are you like oh he said goodnight must turn off electronic devices like no thats my cool down like that makes me sleep also yeah my mom gets sooooo mad when i dont answer right away or if i dont pick up the phone for her but when i call her and she doesnt answer im like not allowed to be even the slightest bit as mad as she gets and the worst part is like shes calling me to check in like when i call its for important information then she gets mad if i do answer cause shes like arent you out with your friends why were you so quick to pick up like get off my ass cindy
