I'm going to hurt my own feelings with this post but Pol is arguably the most Minister of War-like member of the party in The Thief (soldier, enforcer, strong and silent type) and notably the one Gen warms to the quickest/the one he goes to for help/the one who knows and keeps his secrets/the one ultimately prepared to die for him.

i love pol he was so smart to pick up on the be blessed in your endeavors slip and he still keeps it a secret like he knows somethings going on he knows so much but hes not gonna say anything bc why should he? he doesnt care if sounis doesnt get the gift
