speachless about it tbh thats a lie actually I have a lot to say on the matter seriously tho garak had no /excuse/ he had a lot of very understandable reasons tho and tbh I know full well that if I was in his place tain would say jump and id say how high too and after a life of serving the state in that role yea of course youre gonna become desensitized to the atrocities youre committing at least to an extent. until you really sit down and think about it yk. so you spend youre whole life chasing aproval instead of having to face yourself and your choices like he never wanted any of this. but he chose it anyway. and can anyone really blame him for that the whole thing of being made into a weapon against your will but youve managed to convince yourself it will serve you. bc what else can you really do. only to then have to relearn how to be soft and compassionate. and how could you even begin to try after everything youve done. how could you ever face it all to atone for it ughah
