My pairing is between my original characters named Yuuma Mochizuki and Jukka Virtanen.
Their foundational ship dynamic is Anti-Hero x Anti-Villain with Yuuma as a reluctant, cowardly, and hypersensitive superhero and Jukka as the charming vengeful force of nature supervillain.
However there is definitely an undercurrent of Opposites Attract with Yuuma being a hypersensitive compassionate yet intellectually "stupid" Hero and Jukka being an apathetic intellectuallly competent Villain.
What ultimately unites them is there mutual (reluctant at first) willingness to try and understand each other which is more than what anyone else has done for them in the past. They also share an adoration of the arts, media, mental illness, and comical stubborness.

Classic Examples Of Their Love: Yuuma and Jukka
Yuuma is definitely a laidback type of lover who only really goes out of their way for obvious Grand Romantic Gestures when it's some type of anniversary or holiday.
Yuuma's main gestures tend to be waiting up for Jukka if he's lagging behind the rest of the group and listening to Jukka go on a passionate monologue about cinema for hours on end.
Yuuma's more romantic gestures are when Jukka makes some type of comment about adoring a specific romantic cliche. One time, for Jukka's birthday, they made a portrait of Jukka. It was incredibly hard since Yuuma went for realistic in this portrait when their normal artistic style is far more abstract and symbolic :)
Jukka's casual love gestures are through excessive compliments and poetry. He definitely tries to recreate typical romance cliches for Yuuma such as writing a song for Yuuma, expensive restaurants, and all that fun jazz!
It's less because Jukka genuinely wants this and more due to the fact that Jukka is f*cking awful when it comes to genuine displays of affection.
His most genuine gesture is when he's recommending movies and shows for Yuuma to watch. Jukka takes cinema very very seriously.

How to Show Affection: Jukka(he/him) and Yuuma(they/them)
Jukka is the most simultaneously extravagant lover and the most laidback lover. While, yes, Jukka routinely demonstrates love through obviously romantic gestures such as poetry and love letters, it's not the most 'genuine" thing.
Jukka's love languages are primarily gift-giving and words of affirmation but these aren't "natural" for him. He could, theoretically, do anything or nothing to express affection since Jukka doesn't really feel strong emotions.
Jukka's greatest act of affection is mostly through his effort. He doesn't feel the subjective emotion of sadness whenever Yuuma is sad BUT Jukka does try to comfort Yuuma.
Yuuma expresses affection in the little things. Leaving a specific chair open since they know Jukka needs to sit next to an exit. Grabbing an extra soda since Jukka is always thirst yet never remembers to bring something >:(
They both show affection just through open-mindedness and a strong respect for and consideraton for their boundaries.
Jukka doesn't understand Yuuma's hypersensitivity but that doesn't mean he can't try to emotionally comfort them
Yuuma doesn't understand Jukka's need for privacy but that doesn't mean Yuuma can't defend their partner whenever someone tries to force that information out!

The Lengths: Yuuma and Jukka
Jukka's "grand sacrifice" moment was the time he left his previous organization which (unfortunately) left him with a huge target on his back.
This one was incredibly hard since Jukka has been a member of the organization for several years. It gave him a purpose and a sense of stability he wouldn't ordinarily have. Luckily, Jukka was able to find that joy in his new community but he still suffers the consequences :(
Yuuma's "the lengths they are willing to go" moment was when they revealed their secret identity to the population in order to protect Jukka's own triple sided identity.
This was incredibly difficult since it made Yuuma unable to ever lead a peaceful life ever again. Now they have to deal with responsibility and all of that shitty obligation :(

What Outsiders Think: Yuuma and Jukka
From the most positive to the most negative :D
Tree Of Heaven: Tree of Heaven is the alias of a guy who originally had an antagonistic relationship with Jukka until they forever bonded over their mutual obsession with cinema. Tree Of Heaven is literally the only person who has given their entire heart to the relationship. Tree Of Heaven loves the image of Attractive Hero x Attractive Villain
David Rodriguez: David is Yuuma's step-father. David certainly distrusts Jukka with their child. Jukka was a villain and the only reason David was able to even learn his name is because Jukka gave it out with the express threat that if David reveals this information, he is dead. Luckily, David is willing to try and like the guy :)
Henry Liu: Henry is the quasi-son of Yuuma. Originally, Henry had no stake in the romantic tension but when Henry realized that this weirdo was going to be an active part in both of their lives, he is now always ready to cut him out. Henry is basically an attack dog for Yuuma since Yuuma is stupid and can be somewhat gullible.
Shiloh Whitlock: Shiloh can't understand love in the first place. But if they wanna like each other then sure. They'll be there for Yuuma for the probable break up.
Anghel Dalca: Anghel is one of the closest people to Jukka. He was skeptical of how these two could possible like each other. Whenever he tried to talk to Jukka about what there is to bond about, he was cut down. Anghel can only see there differences. Jukka is a hypercompetent, intelligent, bundle of mystery while Yuuma is an incompetent, stupid, open book of a human.
Edward Whitlock: Edward is a staunch traditionalist who somehow isn't racist or homophobic. He can't see why such a lovely person like Yuuma would like this guy without a future and barely with a past?!
