         THOUGH IT WAS PROBABLY SHALLOW ,  aurora  couldn’t  happen  but  worry  about  the  little  flower  shop  she  went  to  every  week ,  &  wonder  if  the  owner  was  alright  ---  not  to  mention  the  flowers ,  of  course .  with  so  many  businesses  having  been  affected  by  the  recent  events ,  she  felt  as  though  it  was  he  duty  as  a  frequent  costumer  to  go  check  on  the  shop ,  see  if  there  was  anything  the  blonde  could  help  with ;  and  so  she  did .

          upon  arriving  at  the  flower  shop ,  she  spotted  a  face  she’d  grown  rather  accustomed  with .  aurora  didn’t  particularly  know  the  other  girl ,  but  she  had  run  into  her  a  fair  amount  of  times  during  her  frequent  visits  to  the  store .  it  was  good  to  know  that  the  stranger  was  alright .  ❝  i  see  we  were  both  worried  about  this  place ,  ❞  she  greets ,  giving  the  brunette  a  small  nod  of  her  head  &  a  smile .  ❝  luckily ,  the  flowers  seem  to  be  in  much  better  shape  than  we  are .  i  assume  you  stayed  safe  during  the- ... the  things  that  happened  these  past  few  weeks ?  ❞

Sorrel was concerned about her favourite flower shop’s proprietor rather than the shop’s merchandise. A human life, on the other hand, cannot be replaced. People forget this from time to time, but she was not one of them. She decided to pay a visit to the shop and see if she could assist the owner in any way, even if it was simply cleaning up.

Sorrel had gone in and taken a quick look around before going deeper into the business to examine the damage when she heard a voice and recognised it as another frequent customer, “I guess great minds think alike and all that.” “I don’t think I’ve ever told you my name, how rude of me?” she said with a smile to the blonde. “My name is Sorrel White,” she said, holding out her hand for the other to shake. She nodded in agreement as she heard the next statement, “I stayed at home as I didn’t see the point of risking my life, so I opted to avoid it.” It wasn’t that Sorrel wasn’t brave; she just knew when and when to pick her battles, and she needed to keep alert since she was still on the lookout for her stepmother. “I’m guessing you stayed safe as well?”

        ❝  I GUESS SO ,  TOO .  please ,  it’s  not  rude  at  all !  i  wouldn’t  think  that  of  you ,  ❞  after  all ,  the  brunette  seemed  sweet ,  and  not  the  kind  of  person  who  would  purposefully  avoid  conversating  with  others ,  much  less  not  introduce  herself .  at  least  the  opportunity  had  presented  itself  to  them  now .  ❝  that’s  a  beautiful  name ,  sorrel .  i’m  aurora  capulet ,  ❞  she  replied  while  taking  the  other  girl’s  hand ,  shaking  it  gently .  while  aurora  would  have  much  preferred  to  use  philip’s  last  name  as  her  own ,  she  figured  it  was  best  to  wait  until  their  official ,  big  wedding  with  family  &  friends .  still ,  it  was  wonderful  to  know  that  on  paper ,  she  was  already  his  wife .

         nodding  her  head  agreeingly ,  the  princess  smiled  at  her  new  friend’s  answer .  ❝  me  too ,  though  i  must  confess  i  wish  i  could  have  done  more .  at  least  it  prompted  me  to  ask  my  husband  for  swordfighting  lessons ,  ❞  something  aurora  felt  very  excited  about .  ❝  shall  we  have  a  look  at  the  flowers ?  i’d  love  to  know  what  your  favorite  is ,  though  i  know  it  can  be  hard  to  pick  just  one !  ❞
