Did you ever figure out what Matthew Freeman's past name was and why he never told Jamie what it was?

It's never actually confirmed what his past name is, but there is a common theory. All of the past versions of the five are deities or religious figures of various religions. So, taking that into account, there are clues to what religious figure Matt was in the past. It's mentioned that the icon (past) Matt's sheild was a fish. But the more obvious symbolism is how the current Matt dies. Before Richard stabbed him, the old ones had Matt hung on a cross. So the theory is that past Matt was jesus.
