Pairing: Loki x GN!Reader Summary: Loki turns himself into a baby and you take care of him before he turns back to his normal self and tells you it was a joke
You place your favourite book on the couch next to you as your phone had started to ring and disturb me. Before you could get a word out, Tony’s voice cuts you off by saying, “You need to come down to my garage where my cars and suits are.” The call ends after he said those those. You sigh, going down to where he is.
“What?” Leaning against the door-frame, you have your arms crossed over your chest. You watch Tony turn around with what seems a baby in his arms. He walks over and places it in your arms. “Why am I holding him?”
“’Cause he’s your boyfriend.” Tony goes back to work on some screens in front of him.
Taking a look down at the baby in your arms, you say his name to have him perk his head up and his green eyes stare up at you in awe. Shaking your head with a smile and walking back to the couch, you see Loki having a smile and still looking at you in awe.
Settling back on the couch, Loki in your lap, you continue to read your book.
You had started to feel something was off, so you put your book back down to see Loki playing with a knife. “Why the fuck?” you mutter to yourself, taking the knife out of his hands.
You use your power (telekinesis) to put the knife on top of the coffee table in front of me. Loki then started to whine, wanting your attention.
“What? Do you want my attention or food?” He smiles at both.
You walk out of the Tower with him still in your arms.
He had started to wiggle in your arms. “Stop moving or you can feed yourself and I won’t be giving you attention.” Immediately, he stops what he’s doing.
Once at the grocery store, he was placed in the seat of the trolley and got pushed around.
A disgusted face is presented on his face at the sight of the baby food. Even in his adult food, he couldn’t see how babies like the food that’s made for them.
He watches you grab some packets of mashed foods and throw them over him and land in back.
You felt Loki playing your hands, one of the things he loved to do in the most random times.
You’re in a different aisle when a couple was watching you interact with your baby of a boyfriend. “I don’t know what’s kinda worse. You being a baby or a grown up?” He began to babble. You smile, pecking his forehead. He giggles at the affection.
“Aw, what a cutie. Mama’s so lucky.” the woman had said, looking at Loki in adoration. Her partner agrees.
“Uh, yeah, I am.” you awkwardly smile at the couple. Quickly thanking them and bidding them a good day, you go off to the counter.
Waiting in line, you watch Loki stare off into the distance. You take a look at where he’s looking, seeing that he’s eyeing up a wolf plush. “No, we got the things we need for you.”
Tears had flowed his chubby cheeks, making you sigh and bow your head. “Okay, you win.” You jog to the grab the plush and back to give it to the baby, who giggles and hugs it to his chest.
After paying for the things and out of the store you are, a bag is floating next to you since you have your hands filled.
In the Tower, the bags are placed on one side of the bench island and Loki is seated on the other with a bib around his neck. He managed to grab the spoon, baby food rested on top of it.
“Don’t fling it around.”
After everything is placed on the bench island, you wipe Loki’s mouth as his eyes started to droop with tiredness. Taking off his bib, you scoop him up in your arms, letting his head against your shoulder. The wolf plushie in your free hand.
“Don’t go to sleep just yet. I still need to change your nappy.”
Placing him down on a blanket, you do what you had said just a moment ago. You cringe at the smell and at what you’re doing.
Once and finally finished, you dressed him up in a green onesie before scooping him back into your arms.
You tiredly walk to your shared room. Gently, you laid down with your baby boyfriend’s head on chest. “You’re pretty chill for a baby.” You take in a moment for what you just said. “No pun intended.” You chuckled tiredly.
You then decide to let sleep take over.
Waking up to a heavier on your body, you slowly open your eyes to see Loki back to his normal, adult size.
Out of instinct, you run your hand through his black strands, it slowly waking him up.
“I have a feeling that you’re not wearing underwear.”
“It seems that you are right, my love.”
“How was it to be a baby? Do you remember anything?” He does a simple nod. “It was good that you can take care of a baby. I’m glad that I turned into one for a little test for you.”
“Really?!”

“I really wish you could meet them, mom. You would have like Tony, you two are practically the same person. He’s so inventive and honest; he’s the one that saved my life. There’s Steve, you two would have gotten along so well. He’s so polite and kind, he really didn’t leave chivalry behind in 1945. There’s Vision, but he’s not human. He can be a bit suffocating at times, but he’s a great listener.
“There is Wanda who has become my best friend. She’s a witch, but very courageous. Natasha can be a bit scary at first, but you would like her. She is almost as brave as you. There are Sam and Bucky, but I don’t really talk to them as much. Bucky is just way too shy, and Sam and I don’t really have anything in common.
“Thor isn’t around much, but he’s a good guy. He’s the God of thunder, and he certainly looks like one. I mean, his muscles are so big. And then there’s Loki, his adopted brother. Everyone seems to hate him, but I don’t. He was the one who destroyed New York City, remember that? But I refuse to believe it was really him that wanted that.

“Darling, it’s going to be fine,” Loki said as the two of you walked toward the front door of the lakeside cabin he lived in. In your pocket were the ultrasound pictures of the baby you weren’t expecting to conceive this soon, and it was all still so surreal to know that you and Loki were going to be parents.
You recalled the rocky past that Loki and your father, Tony Stark, shared. Everything went downhill during the 2012 New York attack, but when Loki redeemed himself, you found yourself falling head over heels in love with him -- and there was nothing Tony could do about it. Although he had tried to argue with you about the consequences of falling for someone of Loki’s kind, his heart ultimately softened when he saw how happy Loki made you, and how he treated you.
When the two of you were married, Tony promised Loki that if something happened to you, he would ensure no one could ever find him again. And Loki knew it wasn’t just a promise. It was a promised threat.
Loki wrapped his hand around your back. “I’m just… Worried, you know? Our engagement through Dad for a loop, even though we had been dating for two years prior… He’s just… Loki, he’s Tony Stark. He’s as intimidating as he is cocky.”
“But not toward his little girl,” Loki reminded you with a softened smile. “Darling, excluding myself, you are giving him his first grandchild. He’s going to be elated… He may try to kill me for impregnating his daughter, but he should’ve known that was coming. If only he knew how you acted when he wasn’t around. You’re certainly not a saint.”
“Loki!” You groaned, realizing he was trying to alleviate the situation. Loki mustered a grin and kissed the side of your cheek as you grabbed the doorknob. Pushing your way inside, you saw your father come down the stairs.
“Hey, kid!” He smiled widely before it dropped. “...Reindeer Games,” Tony added once he registered Loki until he half-smiled.
“Stark,” Loki laughed.
Tony walked over and engulfed you in a hug before he shook Loki’s hand. “What brings you by? I wasn’t expecting to see you until the weekend,” He said, walking into the kitchen. You followed closely behind, seeing as your father plucked a grape from the bunch on the counter and popped it into his mouth.
You smiled to yourself. “Dad, there’s something I need to tell you,” You whispered.
Tony’s eyebrows lifted. “If it’s to tell me you and Reindeer Games are expecting,” He said, and that’s when your smile dropped. Tony looked up at you, seeing how your face fell. He glanced between you and Loki who rubbed the small of your back.
“Y/N?” He called your name. “Are you serious?” He asked.
Hesitantly, you reached into your back pocket and pulled out the ultrasound pictures. Handing them over to him, Tony glanced between you and your extended hand.
“Twinkle Toes, you got my daughter pregnant?” Tony asked as he accepted the pictures. He flipped them open and your heart pounded violently in your chest as his eyes observed the tiny baby in the black and white photograph.
“Tony,” Loki laughed.
Tony’s brown orbs pooled as he ran his fingers over the images. You sucked in a shaky breath as you waited for his reaction. He broke out into a grin. “I already knew, kid.” He said, not taking his eyes off the picture.
“H-How?” You breathed out.
Tony chuckled. “Your mother had the same glow about her when she was pregnant with you,” He said. Your eyes clouded with tears and Tony quickly wrapped his arms around your body. “Congratulations, sweetheart,” He kissed the top of your head. “But I’m gonna kill you,” He pointed at Loki.
You giggled as he released you to shake Loki’s hand. “Congratulations, Sparkles. But now that this baby is going to have Stark blood in them… I hope you can handle it.” He winked. “And if they come out blue, I want a refund.”
“DAD!” You squeaked, earning him to ruffle his hand through your hair, playfully messing it up.
Tony winked, kissing your temple. As you hugged him, you couldn’t help but start to cry. “I already know this kid’s gonna be the luckiest kid in the world. They’ve got you as a granddad.” You looked up at Tony whose brown eyes were brimming with tears.
He picked up the ultrasound pictures again, his breath catching.
“Stop, I hate for you to see me cry.” He laughed, wiping his eyes.
You smiled, nuzzling closer to him. “Thanks for not killing, Loki,” You whispered.
Tony peeked an eye open and stared at Loki who rolled his eyes playfully.
“Oh, he’s not off the hook yet,” Tony announced with a laugh.
