wondering about Frank and insects but specifically about how it looks like the WH insects are highly stylized, so does Frank even know anything about real butteflies/insects?
& if he saw a real one, would he recognize it? are all of the species names he applies to the WH bugs real, or are they all made up like "Vibrant Eyespot" or "Fluttering Heartwing"?
and then there's the question - does the neighborhood have some of the more 'undesirable' bugs like moths, worms, roaches, spiders? does it have bugs outside of the generic groups of beetles and butterflies? like are there mantids? leafbugs? dragonflies? weevils? or are those too specific/complex/not-cute for the Playfellow Workshop to have included?
and then there's the question of what are the bugs? props? puppets? are they alive or do the neighbors just perceive them as such? Do they even exist outside of art, storybooks, and animated segments? I highly doubt they're alive like the neighbors are, since in the gif of Frank's head spinning, the framed butterflies' wings are moving. which is kind of horrifying if you think about it for more than a second.
just... the critters Frank loves so so so much being a complete fabrication... every piece of knowledge he prides himself on / delights in knowing being utterly Untrue... oof

So, did you know that there was a scrapped Crazy Frog game called Crazy Frog Collectables: Faces? It was the planned second entry in a series that kicked off with Art School (a reskin of Paint by DS), but never saw release as its publisher, Mercury Games, went bankrupt.

Fortunately, the manual for Art School contained a gameplay screenshot of the long-lost Faces. It's just a simple puzzle game where you blow up Crazy Frog's head and collect bizarre powerups along the way.
Now, what if I told you that CFC: Faces would eventually be reskinned by its developer, Cypronia, and released as DSiWare? Would you believe me?
Believe it.
This is Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party, and apart from looking fucking atrocious, it shares many of CFC: Faces' aspects. Faces that explode into nothing but eyeballs, a similar bottom screen layout, a portrait of the main character on the bottom left, the fact that it ALSO happens to have a Drone character, the exact same powerup layout...
It's quite obvious that they're the same game, just with a bootleg version of Crazy Frog slapped onto the released title.
Now, here's the real question - are there any Crazy Frog leftovers in Crazy Cheebo's data? There's only one way to find out...
Self indulgent world and creature building don’t mind if I do

Log [Redacted] subject Hell Creeps:
What we know:
Hell creeps are slightly blind creatures who dwell in all climates preferring darker spaces such as caves or where they come from the great inferno ring of limbo
They have boney protrusions that imitate spikes along their backs as well as boney rib like structures that come out of their sides as well as a skull on their face that if removed would just reveal flesh underneath
They are similar to snakes in that they taste the air with their tongue and mostly navigate with a sense of smell but don’t be fooled they can still see just not very well unless you are two meters in front of them beyond that they have trouble seeing
Colours: They can come in basically any colour especially since to adapt to an area they will evolve to look more like that surrounding, but it is rare for them to be vibrant colours or pastel they are mostly earthy tones or just deeper saturated colours
Size: Hell creeps come in all sizes, the smallest documented though was still around 6-8ft the largest subject size that’s been documented has been around 14-16ft. Length wise is still unknown (to be researched further)
